  1. i heard an interview with ...i believe...eric winston who i believe played there and he said bodine is really coming into his own and expects him to improve considerably over time. i would rather have groy at a guard spot. btw miller had 47 starts at left guard and that is his natural spot and he could be a reuben brown for us there. i think groy would be a big help at right guard next to mills. so for me it's dawkins / miller / bodine / groy / mills or newhouse. hopefully they get a starting 5 together sooner than later and get them to gel.
  2. the timing and ball placement of tyrod vs. nate was night and day. nate was throwing with anticipation and it helped with rac and at least not putting a player at risk of injury. often times and i can think of a few examples, it looked like the receivers weren't expecting the ball to be there and looked startled. they weren't used to that with tyrod. that's what we need and i think that will improve no matter whose throwing the ball. i think allen will do good at leading or throwing guys open just due to the speed of his throws.
  3. 50mil. And I believe he was the last one before the rookie cap. Thank God for that coming about or rookie QBs would start out getting Jimmy g. Deals.
  4. What ...he made her work his rookie year?..…and take the bus from her studio apt?
  5. Im gonna try to go to the free practice Friday afternoon. I'm only 20 minutes away.
  6. I think he'll be fine. They can just send him straight down the sideline for now and he doesn't have to be an every down player.
  7. He set the NCAA record for catches...he made history....so I'm gonna give him another chance. Just hope he's memorised the playbook.
  8. Lol they can't even get to camp without Injury.
  9. That's a lotta beef for a guy who won't see a game cause Nate is putting on a clinic. He'll drop 400 on those chargers.
  10. I actually think Levi Wallace may be able to take the v Davis job next year. I also think after shady has a great year that he restructures to stay next year and we draft one by Rd. 3.
  11. they have played together before and know each other very well.
  12. Good post. At wr I hope they keep 7. Besides your starting 4, I would like to see Reilly, dupri and Foster with rayray and proel to the practice squad. I've never been impressed with Kerley.
  13. Yeah I didn't mean to tie Tanner v into the olb convo but as depth. I'm much higher on lorax than most and think he'll be one of 3double digit sackers. I would imagine Robinson in for lorax on early downs.
  14. .....and that is why he would have been long gone if i were the coach. maybe connor mcdermott can step up the competition. i actually even think newhouse would be better in pass pro than mills. i expect opposing defenses to come at us just like last year....stack the box and send the heat from the right side.
  15. i agree and my biggest hope is that mc coach really lights a fire under starr and he turns into a pro bowl tackle. i am going to keep an eye out for that tanner v kid in camp. i think the staff feels like he has a future.
  16. i'm still willing to bet that kujo and henderson end up having solid careers. i thought henderson was going to comeback and be the guy, but seems like he never got a shot. i think mills is still the weak link and i'll never forget what bosa said....
  17. i know right!? more like fadingpaininthearse lol. i would be estatic with wins against balt. / the bolts and either minny or gb. if we win the first 2, i would be the first to bet money that we go to the playoffs.
  18. i don't see this mcstaff allowing a step back this year. i believe we will command a wildcard spot and actually win the first game. that being said, i say bpa we we will be drafting in the mid to late 20's....not quite as optimistic as 88. if anything we will trade up using the extra capitol we have.
  19. i think we struck gold with levi wallace also. i think he could be a better version of kevon seymour and do very well if davis needs a break or gets hurt.....which i think there's probably at least a 50/50 chance of.
  20. couldn't have said it better. however, as far as wr goes, i hope they keep 7 and i hope reilly , dupre and foster all look very solid and make the roster. i would love to see those guys shine and come into great players. i also think levi wallace could turn into a very good backup to davis.
  21. Man if they win 2 of 3, I sure hope it's balt. And LA.
  22. Not sure what your angle is here, but we were all in on the tank last year....people think because we are moving on from a couple aging vets from last year we automatically suck. I'm not going to buy I into that. I don't think mcfo is either....yo
  23. Oh no...bawaaah....we gonna suck! We no longer have our 6th Rd. Teantive career backup to lead us to 29 th in offense and 31st in passing...we just don't have a QB who can do better! We don't have any wrs like we did last year....oh wait..we actually have a healthy kb before Halloween...and we have Zay going into his 2nd year when he didn't make the probowl last year.....and we lost a 35 yr. Old headcase and an average center! Omg we are gonna suck!!!!
  24. brady set a sb passing record last year of 505 yds. i don't think ten yrs. ago would have made a difference. maybe the difference in that game was no malcom butler.....
  25. i agree and think between reilly, dupri and foster we could end up with a couple of big time contributors. it's no secret to opposing defenses that putting a speed pass rusher on the right side is a sure thing.
