That frees up a spot and they have some time to see if the vets hold up without losing a good prospect needlessly. Right now I'm thinking proehl and Ray to p.s....but really wanna see Reilly, Dupre and Foster make it.

I just wanted to chime in on ducasse. Besides Mills, him and Castillo would have been the first ones gone...after Rico. I don't know why they don't put Miller on the left...his natural position... and groy on the right. That to me is a no brainer and with how Redmond is looking, why stash groy anymore. Ducasse is gonna give us a weakness on both sides instead of just one.

i kinda feel bad for the kid and i got a gut feeling that he will pan out not only as a very good edge setter, but will also greatly improve his tfls, qb pressures and even sacks. i just hope this doesn't happen on another team and we get nothing out of it. injuries do happen and getting rid of him anytime soon would be stupid. he may become a very important piece. i don't really see trent being a 3 down de. i don't think he can handle it and have the success that we need from him. his one and only job is to incapacitate the qb. i know the depth is good, but i'd also tinker with the notion of kicking him inside of murphy here and there. even when he's at end we will have lorax to cover him and pass rush.

i feel good that he will be good....at some point, and if there's any hint otherwise, i am confident that beane will keep drafting qbs. the one thing i'm excited to see is his play fake. one of the guys reporting from camp (sal)?, said he has the best play fake he's seen since boomer. well that should be something to see.

Forgive me for not reading all the posts but when the Debbie downer theme seemed prevalent I decided to skip ahead. I think opposing d,s are gonna try to do that same as last year and stack the box, at least early on...which will be good for us and get us a few surprise early wins. Foster has 4.35 speed. Reilly is plenty fast and Dupre is slippery. That,s not to mention kb, Jones and Kerley. We are gonna f teams up right out of the gate....and our d is gonna be punishing. Next off-season we will be talking about how we have a top notch young Corp. Of wr,s with Foster, Dupre, Reilly and Jones. Book it.

I see all this stuff about him making plays with his legs. Well if you have a QB who doesn't see the first read open, bails and runs... It doesn't make him some freakishly gifted athlete. Most QBs can scramble on 3rd and 3 and make the first down. He may help the browns this year but the afcn defenses are gonna be ready and the narrative of tyrod nationally will be more in line with what we have seen.

who the hell cares if we are winning? i expect us to be very competitive right out of the gate and get a couple of surprise w's. i hope it's the case cause i'm getting sick of all the pundits calling us next year's cellar dwellers.

Miller played 47 games at lg. I also can't wait to see teller and I'm not buying the ducasse thing anymore than I think of Castillo. Miller in his first year better than ducasse ever and I think groy would help the pass pro on that side.

I'm hoping at least 4/4. But either way I think this team can go 6/2 in the second half and possibly 7/1 if they can beat the jags at home.

He also said bodine was an excellent run blocker and combined with familiarity with aj, I still think groy should play rg. Miller on the left in his natural spot. I've said it before I think he can be the next Reuben Brown and maybe groy can help protect us from Mills.
