  1. it would be great to see josh show up tyrod, but then again it would be nice to see all 3 of them do it.
  2. i love allen, i'm happy they got ajm, but i think even with the 3's nate will have the best stats again. those bubble players are gonna love and benefit from having him with them.
  3. well thankfully daboll's here....to plan against opponents. gilmore is top notch right?....he sucks balls playing press. darby was much the same. not every defensive secondary has the ability to do that. not to mention not many dbs are gonna be able to hold up kb, kerley or for that matter streater, coleman or foster. we are gonna be good and i mean like 100% improvement in the passing game. i realize josh is the man at some point, but the point is to win games one at a time starting week one. i believe that the player counsel will have a huge say in who they think can get them a w week one and i bet they are more than confident in nathan. i have faith in ajm also, but i think defenses are gonna be super aggressive right off the bat and we don't have time for ajm to scan the field or rookie mistakes. i said the same thing about losman.......and i wasn't alone
  4. no i'm not, but if you play press and send the heat against a.j., he's likely to take a lot of sacks. if you do the same against josh, you may get some erratic throws and you can also contain him from running. if you stack the box against shady....which i fully expect teams to do starting off, ask yourself this question....which qb gets the ball out fastest to burn those kinds of defense? the answer is nate....who btw made every throw in under 2 seconds. you think there will be time for ajm to "climb the pocket"?.....or josh to evade and scramble ala tyrod? i originally thought ajm was the best bet against baltimore having faced them. however getting the ball out in under 2 seconds i think is the best way to get a couple of upsets in the first couple of games. then we can ride shady. that quick strike offense is why i'm siding with nate. you can't blitz a guy who is accurate and gets the ball out that quick. sincerely ...tom brady
  5. so.....what kind of defense would you expect against a.j. or j.a.? soft zone? cover 2? looking forward to hearing how the defense will be any different with either of the other 2 qbs in. .......enlighten me
  6. i couldn't agree more. i saw a breakdown of each of nate's plays against carolina. i forget where i saw it. it may have been posted on sbnation. i think pff gave him a perfect rating. anyway, point being, the main point was that every ball was out IN UNDER 2 SECONDS. 9/10 could have been 10/10... that is what we need to succeed.
  7. hopefully, when kb comes down with the td catch, his nuts land on ramsey's chin.
  8. YOUR POSTS ARE SUCKY .PLEASE BAIL NOW. PLEASE WALK OUT EARLY.
  9. I think he will show. I would imagine that he's kicking himself and wishes he could have those plays again. Him along with Zay , Coleman and Reilly could very well be the Corp that we build on next year. Not sure if someone outbids us for kb next year.
  10. if we can surprise baltimore and shut down the chargers we will be in the post season. those 2 games will make or break our season and we do have an advantage with a new offense. that being said, i see losses at gb and minny. throw in 2 more to the pats makes 4. they will probably drop one they shouldn't and actually make 11-5 but no worse than 10-6. the first 2 are the most important. go catch the ravens by surprise and then come home and curbstomp the chargers. that will be a great start.
  11. in fact huh? i love the way you guys throw out the "facts". in fact is that game which was a week ago...where nathan was one coulda been caught ball from having a PERFECT outing doesn't seem "in fact" good enough. maybe his throws should have been sooner? have you been watching practices?...or listening to the radio?....hearing news from different podcasts?...or....are you just looking for something posted here to re insure you have something to say about nate and maybe hoping to be able to reference the sd game? well fact is right now he's the best of the 3 when it comes to timing, accuracy and completions....and it ain't even close. i know he's not the long term plan, but i don't understand how any fan can find fault with a guy that constantly goes 6-6/9-9 etc. to start out passing every day. 2017 is over, it's august. change your drawers and catch up with things.
  12. Man I hear you there about stuff while working for Uncle Sam. I probably would have done time...lol
  13. that may end up being the deciding factor.....
  14. NASSIB AT 8!!!!!......LOL EDIT oh wait!....geno!...barkley!....that seems like such a long time ago...
  15. well i feel stupid. i thought you meant groveland n.y. i remember when i lived in lake worth florida hanging iron that it would rain every afternoon during the summer.
  16. i agree...and nothing against ajm. i think i read here earlier that nate went 12-15 and 3 tds. in practice. these are the stats i wanna see from our starter. the reason i give the nod over ajm is that i see nate as being the kind of guy that can put together an 80 yd. 7 or 8 for 10 with a score in roughly 2 mins. t.o.p. i see ajm as the kind of guy that will go 6-10 with a score but probably around a 5 min. + drive. that being said, i feel better with nate in the 4th qtr when we need to put together a snappy effective drive. as far as picks go, i don't see any one of these guys clearly above the rest. batted and tipped balls are gonna happen and account for 95% of ints. and i would actually think that nate's decisiveness will help limit these as well as helping out the oline. i have previously thought the advantage would go to ajm as far as game planning for balt. ,but after watching the first game i see him needing an extra second or 2 of pass pro. i also think he has a slower throwing motion and when real ammo starts to fly, i'm afraid he will take a lot of sacks....putting more pressure on the line, causing more 3 and outs and not scoring on the needed amount of possessions. this is all what i feel in my gut...and when peterman is under center, i feel as though i can expect results. i think the ripple effect that his play will cause will be what we need to cover for our oline, move the chains and keep the defense rested. i want to see an actual nfl quality scoring offense for once and i believe that's what we'll see. lastly, i think part of this decision may be unloading ajm's contract and i think mcbeane will come away with either a player or good pick swap. he got us the 1st pick in the 3rd for tyrod no? a lot can happen around the league ie...what if bree's goes down?...or fitz and maybe the bucs want to move on from winston....there's a lot that can happen and i don't think the surprises are over. jmo
  17. wow i can't believe it. you're maybe an hour south of me and this has been one of the driest, sunniest, hottest summers that i can remember...and i just turned 55.
  18. i agree and the most important thing is getting wins in those first 2 games. also, i believe the team counsel will have a large say in who they believe gives them the best chance. i would imagine it would be awfully hard for the coach to sell the team on going through rookie ups and downs. players want to win.
  19. ok, i'll pull the body of work card....what has lee done before thurs. night? thomas...well he aint' no rookie either. i do like the slight/former wr in croom. if they carry 3 and i think they will, it's clay/o'leary and croom. lee is nothing more than lee smith and while i like logan, i don't see him as a good receiving te. jmo
  20. i agree. he did win the best te in the nation award in college and imo the more targets he gets, the better he is. he has got to be no.2 and if he's not ,it's all because of the bones new regimes have against players from the old. it can't be anything else.....and if godforbid clay went down, with no nick we suck at te....right away.
  21. I agree on moving Shaq inside. That love dude tho really made an impression on me. Read his bio and think he could be this year's diamond. I could see him and Eddie 2nding the ends. Idk
  22. he's concentrating on st...and he's faster than holmes. he's hoganx4. i do not want to see brady making him an all pro.....which is what will happen if he is cut or goes to the p.s.
  23. i hope they hang on to the edge mike love. they could list him as a lb and have him spell lorax. use him to rush the passer. i think that dude has hughes clone written all over him. besides i think this is lorax's last year and he will cohost one bills live after. there is also keenan robinson so i would cut stanford and humber would be on the bubble. also i think siran neal will come around and maybe push mccray although probably p.s. this year. at wr keeping reilly is a must. i like streeter more than holmes. he can get deep and someone has to go. i was really routing for dupri to step up and also had/have hopes for foster. at cb i think wallace can be better than pitts. at least we'll have one helluva practice squad. i would like to hear some opinions of the new dt from the rams, i'm curious.
