great write up shaw. before the game...like for a week , i was all nervous that he would...well look like he did pre- injury, but boy was i wrong. i don't care about his stats because if i didn't know what they were, i'd say he had a very good game and he did. there was a time or two where he had wrs wide open but didn't buy the time, be patient and keep his eyes downfield, but it was only a couple of times. i think he made very good strides in not dropping back too far, panicking and taking off, and also getting the ball out on time. i am very excited to see him going forward and i do think he will turn into a 300 yd. passer. i think a lot of his scrambles last week were either designed or an option given what the defense was doing. i love his moxy and his spirit. now that we have the vertical capability, i think things will get easier for him and the entire offense. i'm trusting that we finally have an oc who will game plan for each opponent and not stick with an outdated cookie cutter offense. i think this week we'll finally see some two back sets with a variety of stuff we haven't seen yet....plus a few bombs...yum. just get us one more win! hopefully mcd and mcfrazier are getting that run defense shored up. this is a good game to play man coverage and do some blitzing at times. ironically at 4-7, i'm excited!

i've watched that play 100 times trying to see his throwing motion/wind up and still can't see it. how in the heck did he do that? that throw made a believer out of me.

well hopefully i'll get to see them in the future, maybe at thurman's bar or something. i have a fred jackson autographed football that i was hoping to add some names to, but i guess i didn't miss an opportunity there....not to mention saving probably 50 bucks in gas and tolls along with crappy weather driving. the buffet and beer thing though is criminal!....lol

i get that and it's obviously better after this game but that doesn't mean they shouldn't offer a refund after all the dicking around.

i don't doubt it happened, it's just it ended up being 3 different dates and we are not independently wealthy. we made plans and got emails on the day of the event that it was changed.....and all of the dates were on a monday. who can plan around 3 different times like that? wtf? did i mentioned i'm pissed? i just hope they win this week.

not going any farther than this. answer is yes. i want to give these guys one more year to finally reap the rewards for their efforts. they are playing great. next off season i can see them replacing trent with a young edge (i had very high hopes for trent) and a head hunting lb. i know they'll try to find a good corner, but i think if we went into next year with what we have now, we'd be fine. we can get a db and lb a little later, but a good de i'd take early.

even if the jags cut him, i don't see dareus as the kind of guy to make a dedicated comeback. it could happen, but i don't think it's in him. he got his dough yo. i felt bad for him with what he went through in his personal life, but i just don't see him as the kind of guy to recommit himself....unfortunately.

I hope all went well. After this event was rescheduled twice, I could not make it nor could my girlfriend burn any more vacation time. I sent several emails to request a refund (because there was/is no contact no.) and never got a response. I talked to a guy at Dos on the lake yesterday and he was adamant that the only date that was ever scheduled was for yesterday. I have the emails stating that it was changed from Oct. 30th to Nov. 12th and then on Nov. 12th it was changed to Nov. 26th. I bought my tickets the day you originally posted it. When I got the notice on Oct. 30th that it was changed to Nov. 12th, I planned a weekend over there with my girlfriend. My son and his girlfriend were going to the Marine Corp ball near there and we were getting rooms and making a Veterans day weekend of it. Then on the 12th I get an email changing it to the 26th. Yet this guy at Dos on the lake tells me yesterday, that there was never any date other than the 26th? I guess I'm eating the 55 bucks but I am PISSED!. As far as I'm concerned GetyourTickets.net is a scam outfit from Texas and I guess I got sthustled. I'm disappointed that the team doesn't oversee this stuff.

i realize chances are slim for the playoffs, but the show ain't over til the fat lady sings. either way , if we do win out and miss out or lose one more we can go out on a positive note. at least it doesn't look like we'll crap the bed like the first half and that's all i can hope for for guys like kyle and lorax. hope they come back.

this is daboll's coming out party. they ran a lot of 4 and 5 wide and had very good success getting guys open. i think that gives our offense a huge boost. (one thing on allen is...best fake since boomer. i'd like to see him hide the ball just a split second longer. that little move springs guys wide open.) however now, he ( daboll) can still go 3 wide and have shady and ivory in the backfield at the same time. not only does that give us the 3 wide, plus maybe shady, but establishes the screen pass to either back and also helps the running game. that adds a whole new page to the playbook....plus there's a back that can chip wake. i believe in the offense in 3rds. outside and downfield speed intermediate mismatches with backs and screens running game i think we now have the first established and can be consistent at it. i believe in daboll and think his approach is going to keep growing. he will have some new wrinkles for the fish. the days of 8 or 9 in the box and constant blitzing i think is finally gonna stop.

i agree but his motivation is chasing records and i'm sorry shady, you ain't getting over 20 carries a game any more. maybe with a much improved line he could look like his old self, but can he?...and at what cost? i hope kyle and lorax come back for one more year.

well it's time for a divorce. having game changing plays called back for stupid offensive penalties should def. seal jaun's fate here. i can't see how mcd can justify keeping him. i believe he also holds the title of run game coordinator. enough said....

i haven't been following the packers a lot this year. i know that division is any given sunday vs. one another and chicago playing this well can't help matters. other than the coach, what is the main problem there? is it they haven't kept a quality receiving corp and weapons for rogers?....which is what i'm assuming.

i hadn't really thought about that, but it was a notable improvement from him. before the injury, he did have the horrible habit of turning his back to the line and dropping back way too far. huge improvement in that area.

the big thing is coming away with a win in miami. if they use rb by committee, we could get a very good ground total and then we just need allen to make a few plays. i actually think his stats will improve by the week. get this one and we can settle in at home for a while. we need a huge collective prayer for the vikings. take out gronk and get after brady.

they gotta mix in ivory and murphy more. enough with this allegiance to shady. that's screwing our whole game plan up. we need north bound running at times and they just don't seem to wanna admit that too often.

Apparently, the team does not oversee any of these events. My emails are still getting ignored. I called Dos on the lake and got an automated menu to which I had to leave a voicemail. I also found it funny that the recording stated that they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. However, there is a banner on their website about it. I wouldn't be surprised if there's another email today with yet a different date.

Thanks for the help guys. I still have had no luck. It's looking like I'm gonna be taking one for the team. I can't be mad this morning after the win yesterday. I will try to contact the team today I guess. I'm pretty disappointed that the team didn't require these people to reach out and offer a refund. The weekend (day)before the 12th my son and his girlfriend were over that way for the Marine corp. ball and I was hoping to make a time of it. Mine took additional vacation time that week , but now it's off the table.
