Question. What is the opinion on G Wyatt Teller?
billsredneck1 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
maybe teller is that creative dline/ pass rush piece in the joe marino podcast thread? he was a converted dline guy if i'm not mistaken......it is tea leaves reading season.... -
i like miller and think he was dealt a tough hand, not only in his personal life , but from juan's system and playing next to mills. i think some team is going to offer him money the bills won't want to match. i can see long at lg and teller moving to the rg spot. i believe they will draft a center/g and tackle somewhere in the draft. of course after signing a vet center and williams. how about duke williams?

Jordan Phillips is trying to recruit players.

while center is important, at least bodine can block someone unlike someone that let's the right side rush through on every down. besides a new center seems like a forgone conclusion already. -
Is Trent Brown a possible option?
billsredneck1 replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
mills is/has been an absolute turnstile. a rookie would be an upgrade. the rt spot has been the weak link for the past 4 /5 yrs. it's gotta change. -
they are being very smart in staggering the contracts of their young stars. a lot of people complain...ie..they ignored the offense or the line last year etc., but to build a great team through the draft you can't have second contracts all due at once ...or too many at once. if you look at the last 2 drafts we have got good young talent and staggering the contracts is huge to keeping our own. i love what they are doing.

imo the MOST IMPORTANT offseason move to be made is without any doubt right tackle. if we don't upgrade there, any other offensive acquisition is negated. -
irv smith jr.....probably have to trade a 5th to move up to the top of the rd. 3 about the same spot we got harry last year, but irv smith will be a bill. bank on it.

hello everyone, i have been wanting to join for a while. i live in chili center. please bear with me and my assaults on proper grammar.

....not to mention they need to stagger contracts on their young players in order to fill out a sustainable corp...so far, so good. hopefully, they get quality free agents in the mid 20's ish and when it's time to move on from them the rookies will be up for 2nd contracts.

Allen 3000 yards. + 1000 yards

to me it's a cross between kelly and elway... -
This Off-season should be all about Allen

I believe we will sign Jesse James and every year there's a player in the draft you just know will end up a Bill. For me it was Zay Jones and then horrible Harry. This year it is TE Irv Smith jr. He will be a Bill......and if he makes it to the top of the 3rd like Harry did, Mbeane will smell like Mcroses. -
Report: Bills interested in UFA TE Jesse James

well....i guess it can be said he's already an improvement over thomas, but i see james as a reliable nick with a bad attitude....yep sign... -
Patriots have 2nd easiest 2019 schedule
billsredneck1 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i didn't see which were home and away, but now i like it even better. this could be the year we at least get to the divisional round. every team (except one) is beatable... wash. qb? who knows?...but even if they get a good vet and/or rookie, they need a miracle(s). balt. defend jackson / get turnovers winnable cincy new coach qb competition? loss of key free agents? titans could very well take a step back this year steelers normally count this as a loss but the loss of bell and brown causing chaos... giants...beatable @ cowboys maybe not, but if it's later in the year who knows... and of course we should win out at home ( except one) i'm likin it! -

billsredneck1 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
well...aren't the schedules fairly similar? ours can't possibly be as bad as last year...( 5 of first 7 on the road against top teams ) and this year we face the afcn and nfce.....with the titans being the oddball game. i fully expect at least 10-6. i think we can finally get off the losing side of balt. and cincy. a lot of these teams all have some sort of transitional issues be it qb / coach / loss of key players etc. ....and for once i'm glad it's not the bills. -
What do you want to see this offseason: DRAFT

i didn't think he projected that high, but he'll probably make a name for himself at the combine. -

i agree but would also take montez sweat vs. t.j. we would have two outstanding pass rushers for years to come...with lorax and hughes to learn from. we need sacks! -
RG John Miller - stay or go?
billsredneck1 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i believe this is the problem. he is much better suited for a power scheme. he also played left guard all during his college career. i think that's where he should be and think he would be a road grader for shady at that spot. he could be a reuben brown for us there. i think teller has the ability to play all spots and could be good on the right side. i think the problem for miller was mills. miller had his assignment but had to deal with mills getting whipped around and having 2 guys in his gap all the time. he played very well during his rookie year in the power scheme....which juan screwed up. he also had some major adversities in his life that he had to deal with and people tend to not want to consider any of that. -
i sure hope they re sign him. 2 yrs. at 11 mil. 5 per plus 1 mil. bonus. i think that's fair for the team and for him as a 2 yr. deal will get him to play his butt off and possibly get a bigger payday soon. that being said, i hope they grab sheldon richardson and inject him with whatever j. phillips is taking on a short term prove it deal. i really think he could be a great help on the inside. i would like to see the bills take 2 edge guys in the draft. montez sweat and o. ximines, late 1st (after trade down(s) and late 3rd or early 4th....i'm guessing. this would give us 2 outstanding pass rushers to have lorax and hughes groom for the future. if all this were to happen, i'd go bpa dt somewhere later in the draft. we also can kick shaq inside with trent and lorax splitting time at end. i don't think we'll get a shot at oliver and i know this draft is dt heavy, but getting those 2 edge guys would set us up nicely for years to come.

Could the Bill's end up with 2 first rounders?
billsredneck1 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i would take 24 and 27 in a heart beat. i would take montez sweat and hakeem butler.....unless some team wanted to move their 2nd and 3rd to move into the 1st. then i still take sweat and butler with our first 2nd rd. pick and still have an extra 2nd and 3rd to take oline and bpa. gotta take irv smith with one of those. we sign sheldon richardson and j. phillips in fa. sweat will give us hughes future replacement and when we draft o. ximines in the late 3rd or 4th, we'll have two great rushers in the fold for hughes and lorax to mentor. i would make this trade and throw in shaq for another 3rd. 9 for 24,27 and a 3rd for shaq. i can live with trent and lorax on that end with sweat mixed in for this year. -
Beane should put a claim in for Vallejo LB
billsredneck1 replied to CaptnCoke11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i honestly thought he would make the team. i myself might have preferred him over the likes of stanford.
