well....a) he was stricken with some bad stuff in his personal life b) he then switched schemes under juan and...c) he was stuck next to mills i feel bad for him. he was a 3rd rd. pick that spent his college career at lg. i thought he could turn into a reuben brown there but never got the chance i guess.

i'm thinking 2 years at most before the jets are in cap hades. by year 3 they will be dropping these same players and rebuilding. until then, BLITZ.

i suggested before....send shaq to atlanta for a deal to get grady....with the caveat of trading 9 for 14 and their second. they're gonna be uptight with money if they tag grady. the bills can afford it (for one year anyways before redo or release of starr and or murphy). they then trade 14 for 16 with carolina for a 3rd. with that 16th pick they take montez sweat and with the extra 2 (hopefully early 3rd,) they grab o.ximines. that gives them an all pro dt and two possibly all pro ends for years to come....not to mention still having a 2nd, 3rd and 2 4ths to go bpa on offense or whatever. ....that could be te /wr/ ol i would suggest daniel wise dt in the 4th to replace starr in the future. that buttons up a great, young, premier defense for years to come. i love what they're doing. i just am curious as to how they settle the oline order.

eh.... don't see the big deal with beasley....especially the money. drafting isabella would probably have done/do the trick.

i've said it before....while i'm a big ed oliver fan, i'd rather see them go fa at dt.....ie..sign sheldon richardson to a one year resurrect deal and then draft 2 edges in sweat and ximines. that gives us ends for years to come. we can draft daniel wise in the 4th and get one helluva 3 tech for the future. i just don't think we can do both either fa or in the draft, so i would secure two outstanding pass rush prospects. next year this dline (2020) is gonna have to take on a different shape and given what mcbeane has already done, this is the perfect opportunity to really put the finishing touches on the no. 1 d in the nfl.

i think he will too. i focused on him a lot last year and i'm really curious to know if he can be kicked to the inside with lorax at end. he could be pretty disruptive. of course i've been pounding the table for 2 edges in this draft. ( sweat and ximines ) and draft daniel wise dt in the 4th. i kinda get the feeling that lawson is gonna be a trade piece for us somewhere along this offseason process. i just don't think he's good enough to be the main cog at end. i'd actually rather see them take 2 edges vs. drafting a dt high while getting one in fa, but would be happy with oliver if they are stuck at 9.

depending on what they do in fa...in terms of getting a dt or if not, i'm for ed oliver....if they're stuck at 9. i really think they should concentrate on edge rush. trade down and get an extra 2nd then take sweat in the teens. we can always trade back into the 3rd where i'd take o. ximines. we could land two fearsome rushers for years to come. jerry ain't getting any younger and this could very well be his last year as a bill.....even tho i love the guy. if they do take a couple of edges as above after maybe signing a sheldon richardson on a prove it deal, i would then target daniel wise dt in the 4th.
