We're usually arguing over next year's draft by now. And you have no idea how happy I am not to see those threads.
or figuring out a mathematical theory on how they could still be in....and that's been during good years.

What's more, a QB who is not on your team, and on IR thus not playing for the team that he's on, either
Dude. New Era. 20 mph winds. They get in there and swirl.
That's a plan where you lose your hat - and any plan where you lose your hat is a Bad Plan
i don't expect them to hit 20. too much made about the weather. it's gonna clear out by game time.
sure it might suck for haucska (sp?), but i'm confident josh can throw 20 easily.

Who cares lets take care of business & kick the Eagles butts on Sunday , Eagles defense is bottom 5 this year in points allowed Its going to be loud as hell and i expect the Eagles to sputter on offense and get gashed on defense

AMEN. Nailed it! If the offense doesn't step it up the Bills lose. Winning ugly only takes you so far. True test this weekend. Put up or shut up!
i've got a feeling dabol is going to look to take a lot more deeper shots. if we can get good yards on 1st down, we can gamble. this could be one of those games where we make a statement on offense....(see also vs. minn. 2018)

If it rains as much and is as windy as they're calling for, everything pretty much goes out the window.
It's Thunderdome !!!!!
i'm thinking that the rain may be moving out come game time. they're calling for 30% at 2pm where i'm at, and i'm 40 miles east. ( the weather goes from west to east). i'm hoping it stops at the stadium 12-12:30.
either way, i don't think it'll be a factor. the heaviest is expected aroun 7 am.

Good. I like easy schedules. Why would we want a hard schedule?
i don't buy that crap this early. there's always at least a couple of teams that get on a roll out of nowhere.

This is bizarre considering what we thought his strengths and weaknesses were coming into the season. I am really encouraged with him putting touch on his short passes and his pass to McKenzie last week was the perfect example of this as he hit him with a touch pass in stride. On the other hand, he's missed wide open WR's down the field who were behind the defense that would've been touchdowns. It may be he gets overly excited and that extra adrenaline causes the ball to sail. Or maybe his accuracy problem is most pronounced on the long ball.
the problem is not taking a fraction of a second to plant his feet before throwing. seems like he never has 2 feet on the ground on those and he's just chuckin it.
when he stays in the pocket and starts hitting the quick outes, he's much better.

he doesn’t have to be all pro but if you can put him outside, and take some pressure off brown/beasley the whole unit should be better at little to no expensei was hoping they would use foster to do that....but then again if josh can't start connecting...

I think that Gordon is well past his prime. His recent track record on the field is nothing impressive. His off the field track record is not good and he just doesn't seem like a guy that would fit with the current team chemistry. Of course, I didn't think Antonio Brown fit our chemistry/culture either and we kicked the tires there, but he has proven to be far worse of a character than was known at the time. Back to Gordon, I would take a pass and I think that the Bills will too.
maybe they will...or maybe they'll keep up with the jones and have a weapon....december is when it counts.

That he becomes part of the offense (even if just a small part, as I don’t think he’s close to being a game changing guy) , and the team is quickly forced to adjust to life without him after he gets suspended. I’d prefer to work with what we have. He’s been unreliable his entire career, and I don’t like messing with team chemistry.
i'm thinking that is all in the past. does he have anything hanging over his head?....now?

Good point, but John Brown is a speedy deep threat, and Allen hasn’t been able to connect with him once. Why bring a guy in hopes of Allen finding the deep ball? Deep shots and 50/50 balls are the only thing Gordon can do, that’s my exact concern. He appears slow, and doesn’t look like an exceptional all around WR at this stage in his career imo.
i don't get that at all. he's a deep middle/post threat that would garner respect from snap one. i say yes.
-
i'm all for it as long as the roster spot comes from another position. i think foster can be a huge asset. between his injuries and lack of targets....not too mention josh's inaccurate long ball, i wouldn't get rid of him. he's our levi wallace on offense and we're gonna need him. adding gordon though could be a big boost. we are gonna have injuries down the line. depth at receiver is gonna be crucial....kinda like josh being better at hitting those wide open deep balls.
that's our ticket to beating the pats in the end. having enough weapons to survive to the end. it's easy to tell that's what they're thinking and we should be doing the same.

That's about all there is to say I think... Brady has been supposedly lobbying behind the scenes and I'm sure AB can cry a little and make nice with Kraft if it means crushing souls this season
IF AB doesn't go back to NE then IMO Sanu and Gordon are pretty much a trade off, except Sanu isn't one Saturday night away from a lifetime ban from the league
except sanu cost a 2nd. i would bet money the pats don't even think about ab....he still has some legal crap to go through.

He was alright in NE, but with his talent I thought he disappointed. Playing with Brady is such a huge opportunity, and he never really became a feared WR. I really think he’d be just another mediocre guy in Buffalo.
but if he's been oft hurt and it really seems like the pats want to crush it this year....finale for brady?...then trading a 2nd for sanu. i think it's a safe investment.....
BUT NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF CUTTING ONE OF OUR CURRENT WRS
-
i would jump as soon as he's let go. as a matter of fact, i'd have his agent on the phone. it's not gonna cost a pick or anything and he should be hungry. could be a perfect fit.
it's only a matter of time before kroft gets hurt again. we can keep 7 and find a roster spot somewhere. this could be great!

Snooped on one of the Eagles message board. First off- our board is much better in style, ease, and not allowing the filth I saw. So heres what some of their fans think.
- Wentz has not completed a full season and until so has proved nothing
- The Bills always give us a hard time
- We have to make trades at the deadline- we just aren’t good enough
- This current roster is garbage
- It is time for a rebuild
- We are ok at WR but lets look to trade for Julio
Not so much team related
- The weather looks bad in Buffalo for Sunday lol. Man they don’t know bad!!!
- One guy said back in his day he was Don Juan dating 3 girls in a week while the other guy was busy sniffin’ jock straps in the mens locker room ?
I gather from all this the fans Aren’t sold on this current team but then again Eagles fans are a different breed.
Feel free to add what you pick out of this board
Go https://igglephans.com/iggboard/forum/igglephans-main-board
well they've been talking about a wr, talking no locker room faith in wentz. hopefully we get a team with issues and not a bunch of wounded animals that are mad about getting punked by the boys.
50 minutes ago, MJS said:I wanted the Eagles to win last week just for that reason. Facing desperate teams is never good.
I felt the same way about the Dolphins too. I was hoping they'd beat Washington. You never want to be the "must win" game for another team. This is turning into a must win for Philly. They are going to pull out all the stops.
i agree, but i got a gut feeling that says the bills offense is do for that.."where the hell did that come from?" game where no one expected them to score at will. fingers crossed!
btw...heard mcd on wgr today and it sounds like he's afraid...er...respects that philly front 7.

I'm fine with Miller- good replacement for Zay in that "sure handed, does a lot well, nothing perfect" kind of role. I just don't see the point in selling low on Foster. He's ours for the time being and I don't think anyone is shelling out for him at this point so I'd rather keep him and see what happens.
I don't get the theory of Foster being Browns' back up. Why not use them on opposite sides?....then split Duke/ Roberts with Beasley in the slot. In an empty set, you still get a TE as well. Depending only on Brown and Beasley is gonna catch up to us. for ie....
Philly can cover brown with a safety on top. Take out Beasley and/or keep him close to the LOS. Put a safety and LB help on Kroft or Knox and that leaves them to rush 5 and stop the run. Josh is in deep doodoo if we can't run....and besides, chunk plays and home runs early on are how we can beat them. We can't let their defense dictate the game.

WR and QB require chemistry, it does not happen overnight.
Unless you got a Tom Brady throwing or a seminal talent: ala Antonio Brown, I think a mid-season WR trade is very likely to yield little, and we know AB ain't comin' here--thank God. Two firsts for a blue chip WR seems insane to me, even a single first, unless it is a Mike Evans type, but personally, I think that guy is so full of himself, tends to be a malcontent and does not get separation. His talent is undeniable though.
If we want to help this team, we get a legit pass rusher, another linebacker to backup Milano or look for value, high possible upside cast-offs. But every new addition means someone has to go.
Two firsts for a certain DE/LB in Denver, that is a pool I'd swim in, maybe.
agree 100% von miller would be the ticket..unless frazier drops in coverage and neuters him...(wouldn't be surprised).
as far as wr goes, imo when we have guys dropping catch able balls and not getting open, then ok go ahead and shop around. until allen starts even getting the ball anywhere near catch able (deep), wr is not my no. 1 concern.

ummmm....i do enjoy murph and wood on the radio and if it's a good play, i can run to the tv to see it. if i plant myself in front of the tv and they suck, i do feel to blame....
however sometimes when we all get our hands up, the opposing kicker misses. worked like a charm against the titans.
btw, 10 yrs. old when o.j. broke the record....and i thought iw as old

i'm praying that they have enough sense to put foster opposite brown. they have a good chance to put up big plays right off the bat against philly. time to quit playing from behind.

don't hold your breath....

i think that 1st half smackdown from the fish will leave a bad taste in the players' mouths and should serve us well hosting the eagles.....unless of course frazier thinks he can just rush4. obviously lorax wasn't too happy with the 1st half defensive calls. he was very open about that on the radio.
-
don't know if it was mentioned but i believe he was 10/11 in the 2nd half. 3 4th qtr comebacks so far are impressive but i don't think sustainable. i do have to say though that i'm glad we finally got a guy who can actually do it.
the thing that sticks out to me are his sloppy mechanics. i don't know why he can't take that 1/2 second and plant his feet.
that's why his long ball is sucking. he never takes that fraction of a sec. to put both feet on the ground before throwing. when they start calling those quick throws from the pocket, he's fine.
