From ESPN . Safety Damar Hamlin was running off the field late, but the Bills appeared to have an extra lineman out there for the entirety of the play. The Bills did not say exactly who was not supposed to still be on the field, and it's difficult to know if the same play was called on the second field goal attempt, but defensive end Leonard Floyd was the only player on the field for the missed kick but not on the field for the winning kick.

It will be interesting when a still photo is taken of both FG personnel pre-snap. I'd say this will show who the "odd man in" is .

Once upon a time, a loss like this , or any loss, would piss me off and ruin my week! Not anymore. I take these losses in stride now. Realizing that it's just a game and really is meaningless in the great scheme of things and really has no bearing on my life. Being a Bills fan for almost 50 years does that to a person I suppose. And this too shall pass.

There is a designated special teams captain that has the responsibility to count the players on the field. Also, they knew more likely than not a FG would be attempted so they should have everyone ready to go on the sidelines. HUGE ***** UP!
