Cam finally got picked on those Peterman outs he’s been throwing
-
...and as we’re all seeing here in Buffalo, and on SNF, a part of potentially becoming/being an elite QB, means having playmakers at WR
-
I’ve heard some kickers mention kicking with no fans is actually tougher.. fwiw.
-
I’m beginning to think that the Rams don’t even pay attention to the salary cap and are just hoping the NFL doesn’t notice.

I really have a feeling the lose of Milano and Edmunds will be to much for us and Fitz will have a good game. I hope I’m wrong and it’s just a feeling.
Not saying we can’t lose, but it would be really surprising if we did given that (even without Edmunds/Milano) we’re still more talented on both sides of the ball.-

Have to wonder why they didn't look to add a little better depth at the position. Perhaps they have a lot of faith in Klein and Dodson.
They’ve stuck with Dodson through thick and thin since bringing him on board. The staff clearly likes him. He played pretty well last week.
Klein could be an adventure in coverage, if that Le’Veon Bell play is any indication.
Im not sure many teams roster build expecting both their 3 down linebackers to be out, along with a backup LB.
To still have a proven vet in Klein and a promising young player in Dodson, shows decent enough depth, imo.
I’d imagine we play Neal a lot to help with coverage and then hope our DL, along with the return of Butler, can hold up well enough against the run.
-
So.. who are our linebackers this week...
Dodson, Klein, Matakevich and Lacey?
Do we go big nickel all game with Neal-Dodson-Klein?
-
Not loving the refusal to rule out IR, but like most of you, I’m actually intrigued to see Dodson out there. Klein, on the other hand.. that Le’Veon Bell shenanigan was the thing of linebacker nightmares.
-
Still have a strong DL, with Butler making his debut, and an elite secondary.
It’s time for the Offense to pull their weight anyway.

So all he has to offer is elite accuracy, ability to read a defense, and an incredibly catchable ball? Meh
Oh yeah, top level poise too?
I guess if you like that kind of stuff.
I think Burrow has the ability to be big time, but he’s not a typical rookie... dude is basically the same age as Allen, Jackson, Darnold and Baker.-

Is this game worth watching? I'm bored to tears by the teams playing, but will turn it on even if it somewhat resembles NFL football.
Both secondaries are making the Jets look like they’re circa-Revis Island, so it’s certainly entertaining.-

Beckham got so lucky to catch that.... wow

Burrow will be solid but he has no elite NFL traits. I’d also worry about injuries because he’s kind of slight but plays with a big heart. He’s gonna take a lot of hits.
He’s also only 6 months younger than Allen as a rookie. -
Add my name to the list

Nothing, they are blinded by thinking the Pats are still THE Team in the east. and they think because it was a close game they are better than they are.
A Pats WR also fumbled the ball out of the end zone for a touchback, instead of a touchdown.... that score seems like it was about as reflective of the game as ours was against the Jets.
-
You definitely can’t compare Allen running to Wilson or Murray... You can’t compare him to Jackson either, but one thing Jackson does that I think Allen could do is the “WR self tackle” where you sense the defender and just dive down into open grass or get out of bounds.
That being said, Allen only took two hits that i didn’t love Sunday, and one of them was in the pocket... (the penalty where a Jet defender dove at his lower leg)
-
Given what we saw Week One, i'm going to say we see the other aspects of our offense come to life this week... a more effective rushing game and multiple deep balls.

This is not a problem
Repeat, this is not a problem
Let's focus on winning by THROWING the football
THIS
The McKenzie pop passes are essentially runs disguised as passes. If we can't get the running game going with Moss/Singletary, get them out in routes... Moss had a TD catch in his first game. Singletary looked good in the screen game.
There's other ways to use your RB's...
-
Knox looked pretty good to me Week 1
I'll take Ertz, no doubt, but with the WR's we know we have and the TE we think we have, not sure tying up assets in another TE is wise.

Loved it.
If the run game isn't working, don't force it, just incorporate the "extended handoffs" i.e. screen game/pop passes.
The talent we have receiving is up there with any team in the league... take advantage of that.

Any team with limited nonQB rushing will show that. Speaks to Bills’ rushing struggles with Singletary and Moss more than than anything else
for example in MNF, Daniel Jones had more than 97% (301 / 308). Speaks more to Barkley’s rushing struggles than saying Jones is the offense
Will be interesting to see A) How we run the ball against the Dolphins, and B) how the 49ers run against the Jets.
49ers offensive strengths play right into the Jets defensive strength. If the Jets had any semblance of an offense, that would be somewhat of a sleeper game.

LeBetard is a die hard Miami fan, and that show is entirely “shtick”, so I get it coming from him..
Bomani is another story... I’m not sure we all need to get into what may be going on there.

Yup. Curious if PFF’s Sam Monson tweets it out while hyperventilating.-

This is crap that we’re talking about this. But if the Bills are gonna make political statements I’d rather not see it.
Im not gonna say which side of the aisle I’m on — but the reason I hate this is sports were a great conversation starter with folks I know who disagree with me politically. That’s gone now. So there’s that.
I just wanna watch and talk ball with any democrat or republican. That’s all. I don’t wanna talk Trump, I just wanna talk ball.
Honestly, I don’t care about how they handled it, but you make a great point.
Just today I asked someone who came into my agency, innocently, like i always do during this time of year.. “How was your weekend?.. catch any of the football games?”.....
::initiate hyperbaric rage chamber::
This basically happened to everyone I talked to today, so I just stopped asking my clients about it.
