  1. The way the board fell was somewhat of a disaster “if” we even wanted a WR last night. That said, “if” we wanted a WR, the run started right before us, so we were absolutely in trade up range. There are a few guys out there today that would still upgrade the WR room, although, at this point I’m starting to think they are somehow content. Maybe they are higher on Stevenson or Hodgins than we think, because Kumerow can’t be the answer if we lose Diggs or Davis for any period of time. Chiefs came into last night with a similar set up. Three established WR’s in MVS, Juju and Hardman. They also have a developmental guy in Cornell Powell as well as whatever Josh Gordon is. They took Skyy Moore. Incredibly frustrating that even with the trade of Tyreek Hill, I still have to be impressed with how focused they are on giving Mahomes weapons.
  2. WR. There are still some good options to add speed and/or a guy to develop on the outside. Calvin Austin, Justyn Ross and Kevin Austin come to mind. IOL Punter
  3. I think they want to run the ball more effectively, slightly more, but I don’t see a major shift tbh.. James Cook has legit WR skills. Georgia used him as a WR out of the backfield, out of the slot and outside.
  4. Wait a second.. do you mean to tell me that two teams with a ton of high picks killed the draft!? Well, I’ll be….
  5. Diggs-Davis-Crowder with McKenzie as a gadget guy is a good group, but A) some people here don’t seem to acknowledge how many good WR rooms there are in the NFL, and B) Unless they are high on Stevenson or Hodgins, our outside WR depth being Kumerow is…alarming.
  6. Not addressing WR depth and our IOL being two “we hope they’re good” guys and then Ford/Quessenberry/Mancz being the healthy depth has probably skewed my initial reaction of a guy I’ve never heard of. His tape is pretty filthy. Beane wanted to get faster on defense and this linebacker is decisive, explosive and fast. What we do with him.. no idea. But his tape is intriguing.
  7. He is stupid fast on his tape. Looks like he’s playing at 1.5 speed compared to everyone else.
  8. Yes, because everyone knows the SEC is “Vanderbilt and some weaker schools”
  9. Brandt joked about saying Matt Araiza’s name no matter who the pick was. Maybe he should’ve called the audible.
  10. UGA doesn’t do “scatbacks”
  11. I don’t trust people that don’t like Kyle Brandt.
  12. Sneaky how they used Kyle Brandt to try and hype us up for the most underwhelming pick of Beane’s tenure.
  13. Sal’s tweets make it sound like James Cook is in love with being drafted by us. Guess he was just faded af.
  14. I’m not sure how anyone can complain about being two picks in and coming away with Kaiir Elam and James Cook. I will say that I’m expecting something to happen this round that confirms my confidence in the Front Office. I like the two picks… a little concerned that there’s only a few WR’s left that can take WR3 away from us having to give any meaningful snaps to Kumerow, Stevenson or Hodgins.
  15. I don’t know… some people just get stoic when they’re emotional. Maybe we need to send his former teammate Jordan Davis over there to tell him about us.
  16. Watch his tape… he looks designed to play in our Offense. Cook & Motor is a pretty strong RB duo.
  17. I’ll take it.. looks like a RB perfectly designed for our Offense. Cook/Motor is nice 1-2 punch
  18. Looking at Buffalo on the clock right now like “don’t you dare…”
  19. Obviously to trade up. I would think…
  20. Nah.. they’re in on this year, but Beane is very conscious about not mortgaging the future. Salary Cap situation is fine.
  21. Josh Allen every time he gets a Bills alert on his phone
  22. Buffalo has informed the NFL that they will not participate in the rest of the Draft.
  23. Yea, as much as it’s frustrating, if we all saw that run coming from our couches, I’m sure Beane did as well.
  24. We’re gonna go SO HARD in the 6th Round
