It’s a strange dichotomy given Gabe clearly shouldn’t have been playing these past two weeks but he’s taking more snaps than Diggs. Meanwhile, everyone else is sidelined at the drop of a hat. (Not necessarily disagreeing with that strategy).

The personal attacks on Russ are weird, not gonna lie. He looks washed. It is what it is. This is some weird energy from certain people.

Lol, what is even happening here…

Does Matt Ryan think that guy plays for Indy?

We can't afford anyone like this. I do believe we will bring in another WR at some point, but it will be Beckham on a similar deal to the one the Rams gave him or a late round pick for an inexpensive WR3/4 type.

Who does Tre take over for when he returns?
SCBills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
CB1 Tre CB2 Elam CB3 Dane CB4 Benford (Eventually transitioning to a starting Safety next year) -
Lamar Jackson 3rd and Goal run. What is he doing?
SCBills replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen says he should make more money than Josh Allen. It's just the nature of next guy up. Also.. I low key love guys like Josh and Von pressuring the Ravens to give Lamar a $50M+ contract... just less money to spend elsewhere. -
How is a new RB going to make a difference behind this OL?
SCBills replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen started running more. That’s the answer. That’s why we ran better. He opened everything up. -
I didn’t say he has anything to prove. I said being an NFL QB is his career. He shouldn’t have to quit his career before he’s ready because it may lead to a divorce. That’s absurd. I doubt this is the whole reason though, but perhaps it was the last straw.

Check social media to see what he put on IG before the Sunday Night game.

This is his career. Just because his career is in the public eye doesn't change that fact. I have to side with Brady here, and this news further cements how disgusting of a human being AB is.

Going to be an absolute dog fight between Dane Jackson and Kaiir Elam for CB2 when Tre White comes back full time. Christian Benford is legit as well, but do we really waste his rookie contract as CB depth? Have to wonder if the Safety transition begins at some point sooner rather than later.

Baldy's only breakdown of Sunday's game - all JPo
SCBills replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not that we don't want to pay him... He's a great player and seems like a great person. If there was no salary cap, I'd want Pegula to make it rain.. There is a salary cap though.. and he's a Safety. We have threads to Pay Po and Tremane must Remain... ok, cool.. and those same people will be making Green Bay/Aaron Rodgers comparisons if we continue to rely on JA to be the entire Offense due to cap constraints from a Defense that apparently needs elite talent at every position. -
Fair points. I definitely believe the Miami heat/injuries factored into lack of downfield attack, but to see it happen again vs Baltimore was concerning. Love what we saw in limited time from Shakir. I don't love that it seems to take an act of God to get younger/more talented guys on the field over vet guys. Hoping this changes with the coaching staff. We saw it with Davis/Sanders... Cook has made mistakes, but it's not like Singletary/Moss don't... Shakir has speed/physicality/route-running that we could certainly use with a banged up Davis over the past three weeks yet we've been forcing Crowder and a clearly injured Davis out there. I'd agree Shakir could solve a lot of our worries.. Can he consistently win outside is TBD.

Beane has done a great job. DT depth tested and we've been more than getting by with Jones, Settle and PS DT's. CB depth tested, and we've seen the young guys can ball. WR depth is the one spot that I do think they've had a blind spot for. It was a pretty big worry for fans & media alike, in regards to our outside WR depth if one of Diggs or Davis miss time. Losing Kumerow made a tough situation worse, but he's not a down the field weapon either. I was willing to give the lack of explosive plays a pass in the Miami game due to the weather, but the same situation was present against Baltimore.

I'll admit.. he's making it real difficult for me to continue arguing that we can't be paying an over 30 Safety. I'm still of that mindset, but not as convinced as I was a few weeks ago. -
Boomer Esiason suggests the Bills should trade for Barkley
SCBills replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm ok with looking around for a RB upgrade, but if I'm Beane, I'm more looking at what Moss and a 4th can bring back... if that's nothing, so be it. A 3rd gets pricey for a rental and anything higher is just ridiculous. -
Edmunds is trending towards a priority re-sign. He's becoming very good.. and has elite potential still. That said, he's playing behind a Top 3 DL in the NFL and heading into the offseason we will have had a 3rd RD pick in the system for a year. Not sure what we're doing with Bernard if Edmunds is extended long term. Good depth, sure, but strange use of draft capital as a top 100 pick.

I was 100% on board with drafting a WR high. I also rolled my eyes at all the "pass catchers" commentary coming out over the off-season/OTA's. It was obvious we lacked outside WR depth, and now we've seen multiple weeks in a row with a hobbled Gabe Davis leading to an Offense that shows a complete lack of explosive down the field ability. I just don't know what our options were.. The draft was an absolute disaster scenario for those of us that wanted a Day 1/Day 2 WR. Looks like we're going to have to hope Khalil Shakir is another Gabe Davis or Romeo Doubs mid-round stud. Certainly within the realm of possibilities, but I don't love that it takes a Kumerow high ankle sprain, Davis on a hobbled ankle, McKenzie in concussion protocol and Crowder broken ankle to finally get this guy out there. We need more explosive players, and I feel the same way about Cook.. let these young guys have their ups and downs. It's not like the RB room and anyone outside Diggs is really lighting the world on fire right now.

May or may not be popular, but I'm not playing Tre until after the bye, against Green Bay. From what I understand, once you reach a certain time period, the chance of re-injury stays stagnant... doesn't really improve with more time off. I'm not sure where he is in relation to that, but he's too important to rush back and call me crazy, but I have a lot of confidence in a secondary of Poyer-Hamlin-Johnson-Jackson-Elam. More important, imo, is to get Davis, Oliver and Phillips right for the Chiefs game - if possible.

A lot of things cost us the Miami game, not just Poyer. And I agree, he’s one of the best Safeties in the game, but we can’t resign everyone. I will say that I’ve been of the mindset that Gabe Davis would break out and we’d have to have money available for him, but given his injury history… maybe he’s the odd guy out after next year and we start drafting some WR’s high. One of the core players is likely on the outside looking in… Poyer, Edmunds, Davis and Oliver. Potentially two of them.

I think McKenzie will be back. Give me the following for the Steelers game: Diggs McKenzie Shakir Austin Hodgins Stop playing games with Davis. He doesn’t seem remotely healthy. Those who watch him at practice/warm-ups also believe he’s noticeably hampered by the ankle injury. Rest him up and hope he’s close to 100% at KC, because he’s pretty useless out there right now.
