  1. The only way I’m trading a 1st RD Pick is if the guy coming back is here for more than a one season rental. We’re looking at potentially losing four starters in Edmunds, Poyer, Singletary and Saffold after the season. Hamlin, Bernard and Cook may all be in-house replacements, but that late RD1 Pick is a prime place to grab a top notch OL, S or LB. I just don’t see Beane trading a 1 for a rental, given his emphasis on being a long term contender. And I would completely agree with that. Now, for a guy on a team friendly/restructured multi-year contract.. I’m open to it.
  2. It never does, but it sounds like we have legitimately tried.. Von Miller and Stefon Diggs. They’re both here now, but I’m pretty sure we were in on them at the trade deadline the season before we finally traded/signed them.
  3. We finally get a TD and Amazon is like nahh, not really gonna show it.
  4. He hit Samuel for a TD and Samuel just decided to spaz out instead.
  5. Why? They paid for James Cook and Stefon Diggs engagement.
  6. Saw this tweet and it came to mind that Ward is no longer on the Chiefs. He’s always seemed to do a really good job on Diggs. They still have Sneed, but could be a low key missing piece that isn’t talked about enough.
  7. If you know anything about this team, as currently constructed, NOTHING is done without input from Josh Allen. Beane even spoke to it on the Pat McAfee show. If OBJ signs here, it almost 100% guarantees that JA signed off on it. We can debate what kind of contract he wants and/if the Bills can/should pay whatever it is he ends up signing for, but if he signs here… it means he signed for a number Beane can pay him and Beane was given the go ahead from Allen. I pretty much implicitly trust Josh Allen’s feeling for the locker room. Same thought process goes for a potential CMC trade if that’s a route they explore.
  8. His reaction during the sideline scuffle .. 🤣🤣
  9. People act like we're signing him to a 3 year 45M contract... It would clearly only be done if it fits financially. No idea how people are against this. ...and I say this as someone who wants an increased role for Shakir.
  10. OBJ is pretty candid in his replies on Twitter. Sounds like he feels disrespected by LA at the moment and seems pretty obvious he's truly in Buffalo right now. He's refuted multiple things in the thread, one of them NOT being he is in Buffalo.
  11. We are a passing offense, so it makes sense to have elite receiving backs.
  12. A 2nd RD Pick and Singletary isn't outlandish for CMC, but I'd only do it if we have new framework for a multi-year contract lined up.
  13. All I know is that speed up the sideline and the contested catch amongst three defenders were special. His most routine play was a route where he got wide open 15 yards down the field and just flubbed the catch. We know he's got reliable hands, so I'm not too worried about it. He doesn't look like a speed guy, but he does run a 4.4 and that football speed up the sideline was legit. He doesn't look like a contested catch guy, but he's done that in college and showed two prime examples of it on Sunday. We know he's a good route runner. That's been evident in college and reinforced throughout camp. Combine that with his RAC ability, being touted as a Deebo-lite kind of player in that regard, and I think we may have something special here in Shakir.
  14. OL worth anything are rarely made available. Contending teams with them aren’t trading them, and bad teams with young QB’s want them so they can evaluate their guy.
  15. Nope. It’s definitely not.
  16. Better watch out for this garbage move..
  17. This is a prime example of why it's the Bills 2021 Defense/Coaches, that are the sole reason anyone can make the argument that Mahomes is better than Allen. It has nothing to do with Allen. He won that game. Defense/Coaching gave it back. Similarly, Chiefs Defense and Adams not securing the catch are why Mahomes gets credit for the close win last night. Allen has just been let down far more often by his coaches/defense in 4 years, than Mahomes has in 5.
  18. It's not a 2 game lead for either team, because - most likely - if the team with the 2 game lead loses the two game lead, it means the other team is ahead of them. It's 1.5 games... which means 1 game plus the tie-breaker.
  19. And why, exactly, does a win not make us a home field lock, but a loss is a "nail in coffin"? Whoever wins is 1.5 games up. That's it. There are exactly zero teams (after KC) that I do not think we can steamroll. It may take running the table out of the bye week, but I also think Buffalo can absolutely do it. Conversely, if we beat KC, I also believe KC can do the same. Which is why BUF/KC are on another level from everyone else. Buffalo, mainly due to talent - Most talented team in the league in both top heavy talent and depth. KC, talent yes, but I think with them - there's a level of mystique.
  20. Agreed. I gave the Chiefs OL an edge over the Bills OL due to their current ability to create a traditional run game, but if those Tackles keep getting wrecked, it may be time to revisit.
  21. Who knows what happens Sunday, especially with us still dealing with the injury bug, but all we can do is envision these two teams at full health come Playoff time.. QB - Push DL - Bills (Stats don't lie - BUF has more sacks and allows less rush yards per game, all while dealing with injuries) LB - Bills (Bolton is really good. Edmunds/Milano are better) CB - Bills (Tre, Jackson/Elam/Benford, Johnson are better than Sneed, Felton, McDuffie, Watson etc) S - Bills (Poyer/Hamlin > Reid/Thornhill) OL - Chiefs RB - Push (Neither team has game changers currently) TE - Chiefs WR - Bills Neither team is weak anywhere, but right now we're looking at two elite pass offenses, and one elite defense (Bills). Chiefs can run the ball better, but we all know come playoff time, Buffalo will have a running game one way (RB's) or another (Allen).
  22. I know you qualified it with (1-8), but through 5 games Bills allow 78 Rush Yards per game, with 16 sacks.. Chiefs, 84 Rush Yards per game, with 13 sacks.
  23. I'm about 99% sure Phillips went back in the game after he pulled up a bit.
  24. Im not going higher than a 3rd for a one year rental. If he restructures, then I’d consider it. People like to use Von/LA as an example of “going for it”, but they wouldn’t be the comparison. They envisioned re-signing Von for more than one run and are now in team building hell due to the other moves they made. KC more comes to mind when they traded for Ingram last year.
  25. I’m convinced Kelce is a witch. He doesn’t even run high level routes most of the time … 3 steps and turn, magically defenders repel away from him.
