Most are aware. But that TD, like the ones in the Playoffs were missed tackles/angles and not all Mahomes.

They are absolutely playing bad. A fumble on one of their two possessions and a missed tackle allowing a 45 yard TD is bad.

Same as it ever was. Defense can’t tackle against Kansas City. Embarrassing. Not even making Mahomes have to earn it.

Not one team in the NFL would trade a rookie RD1 corner for a RB they passed up on. One position has a learning curve, while the other can be plug and play.

OP makes a good point.. We all know changes were made on Defense, but it’s worth pointing out just how ineffective the ‘21 DL was against legit QB’s and power run teams. If that Defense had to play this years schedule, they may be a Top 10ish Defense, but there is no way they are #1. The Defensive Line was a weak link… looking back at the vets we let walk and how young everyone else was, it’s even more apparent after watching five games of this years Defensive Line.

Nate Geary simping for Mahomes on a Chiefs Twitter account yesterday was enough for me to put him back on mute. Mahomes is great, and has the best young QB resume in the game. It’s not even close. However, in 2022, I’m not sure how any Buffalo Bills fan would take Mahomes over Allen. Mahomes is elite. Has been elite. Will be elite. He’s been at that same elite level since jump basically. Allen took a while to develop and is now elite. Will be elite. …and I honestly have no idea what his ceiling is. He’s improved year to year, every year.

I just hate them because they’re the only team I feel can beat us when it matters.. and, so far, they have. (Even though last year was the first year we were truly on their level) Until/When that changes, I get irrationally annoyed at Mahomes prancing around, throwing dropped interceptions at a hilarious clip and executing gimmick red zone plays that only work for KC. Once we get past them, or avoid them to get to where we want to go, I’ll probably be able to appreciate them more.
