  1. This election was a rebuke of the Biden/Harris economic policy of which they are linked to inflation, yes… it was also a rebuke of woke/elitism and illegal immigration. NY, NJ, VA etc., didn’t shift noticeably to the right due to only inflation. You don’t have a landslide of this level due to only one issue. This is reflective of an electorate that has had enough of the current iteration of the Democrat Party on multiple fronts.
  2. I think both Zelenskyy and Putin want an off-ramp. There was one on the table but the Biden Admin nixed it. Yea, it probably means some minor concessions from Ukraine to Russia, but the war will end and that’s in the best interests of everyone around the world and in those two countries.
  3. Both sides need to do an autopsy. Democrats, for obvious reasons. They’re losing Hispanics and it’s not just a Trump-related phenomenon. As they become more integrated into society, they view themselves as Americans first. And as Americans, who are already more socially conservative, they oppose illegal immigration and vote on who they believe is better on the economy. In other words, they are becoming a white-adjacent voting bloc. Black men are moving right. Not in the same numbers as Hispanics, but Democrats cannot win losing 1 out of every 4 black men. White suburban women are the swing voters & they went for Trump. Abortion didn’t move them. Maybe ask why.. and the answer is because they have families.. they have husbands.. they have sons.. and they will also take their interests into account when voting. You can’t trash their husbands and trash their sons and expect them to vote for you because of abortion, of which many of them have varying views on the issue. Republicans need to figure out how to replicate the coalition Trump has built once he exits stage left in 4 years. JD Vance is the obvious answer, and it will be in a different way than Trump, but if Obama was able to build a coalition that carried him to two terms, JD Vance (imo) is his R equivalent, and one that can carry the coalition into 2028.
  4. It’s going to take a while to break down the bloodbath of these numbers. Texas, who Dems have had eyes on for a decade now, went for Trump by almost 15 points! To the right of ruby red Florida. Wild… Latinos in Michigan went for Trump at a 60% clip. These numbers he put up are going to be studied.. absolute dominance.
  5. Absolute legend 45 & 47 🇺🇸🇺🇸
  6. Best tweet I’ve seen is “searched the term turnout and it’s quite the choose your own adventure” I see some Dems echoing good Philly turnout, so we’ll see if that legit. Halperin who’s talking to folks on both sides just posted this..
  7. Im choosing to interpret this news as “opening a roster spot”.. because otherwise I’d have to join the MVS/Edwards/Samuel doomers.
  8. They need to get their act together in Cambria.. you’ve got to be kidding me with this. Incompetence, at best.
  9. Beane hasn’t ever gone “all in”. And he won’t this year. Theyre view is sustainable, repeated bites at the apple. But your sentiment is absurd. We’re halfway through the year and hold sole possession of the 2 seed. We are in Josh Allen’s prime. IMO, we’re a field stretching WR and run stuffing DT away from as complete of a team there is in the league. Safety would be nice, but we can get by without it, if moves are made elsewhere. If we stand pat, it essentially comes down to what the health of teams look like entering the postseason. KC wins the war of attrition every year… perhaps that’s the key to getting to the Super Bowl.. it may just be as simple as being healthier than them for once.
  10. I just don’t feel comfortable with a WR room of Cooper, Coleman, Shakir, Hollins and Samuel. If we knew they’d be fully healthy soon, ok, maybe… Shakir is great, but Cooper has already missed a game, Coleman could potentially be out for a few weeks and he’s a rookie anyway, Hollins is a fine depth receiver but we keep ending up relying on him and Samuel has given us exactly what Hollywood Brown has given the Chiefs … except he’s out for the season. If only one move can be made, a DT or pass rusher like Ojulari, probably takes precedent for Beane, but I’m still worried about the WR room.. and seeing Hopkins dominate in KC last night didn’t alleviate my concerns much at all. Our defense was decimated against KC last postseason, but we also forget we had Trent Sherfield out there giving us no chance on downfield passes in his vicinity. That can’t happen again.
  11. 130 AM and this man is still speaking in Grand Rapids. Absolute unit.
  12. We can run the table and still probably don’t get the 1 seed KC schedule plus their playing style just grounds up mediocre teams
  13. Tampa in this game down their top 2 WRs is impressive
  14. Chris Jones is literally the only guy who always steps up in big moments. Maybe Watt, but that’s about it.
  15. Best OL in Allen’s career (tied w last year) Best RB room Best TE room WR room stills needs work, imo DL is not good enough (common theme) LB “could” be great when Milano comes back Best CB room we’ve had S room is obviously not comparable
  16. Glazing over a left handed throw out of bounds
  17. Refs can’t help themselves
  18. I’ll be honest, I don’t exactly know the significance of this, but people who follow EV data are freaking out about it.
  19. Maybe.. pending Coleman’s timeline and Cooper getting healthy. Smoot is out for a while, if not the season it seems. Still think we need another WR and DL piece to view it as his clear best team ever.
  20. Every time I’ve watched Tampa play, they look great for a few downs and then leave someone wide open down the field.
