The anatomy of a choke. He panics from jump. Everything is off. Everything is chaotic. Nothing slows down.. in fact, it all sped up for him. Resulting in this uncoordinated nonsense that many of us on this board could have made a better attempt at. Really frustrating. The Diggs drop just felt like a culmination of an elite talent that ran its course. The Kincaid drop feels like maybe, after two years, this guy just isn’t actually that good…

Tonight is the first time ever, that i’ve wondered if he’d contemplate leaving Buffalo. I think we’d have a head coaching change first… at least I hope it would if McDermott continues on this path.

Allen played Mahomes to a draw. But due to our year in / year out deficiencies around him, some people have warped themselves into thinking he played poorly if he doesn’t go super saiyan. To do what he did on offense should’ve been enough. Coaching let him down. (Again) Defense let him down. (Again) Refs were their typical KC comical selves. And sadly Beane got hit with a haymaker as his high picks were all embarassed by Xavier Worthy.. and the reality of us having no speed on the outside showed itself in our “run, run, swing pass, middle of the field dart” offense.

At some point, he will have to be the greatest man amongst us to not let bitterness and frustration with his teammates and coaching staff seep in. To do what he does against the Chiefs in the playoffs and be 0-4, with the same issues plaguing the team/staff around him every time… I just don’t know how that doesn’t affect you negatively.

I fear it’s this. McDermott’s Defense only really steps up against Rookie QB’s, mid-QB’s and Playoff Lamar Jackson. Against elite QB’s that don’t make a bunch of mistakes, this is the result. I don’t even know if a trade for Myles Garrett or Maxx Crosby helps fix it. I worry it’s McDermott’s defense. When it matters, Andy Reid knows the buttons to push and can rely on the fact his QB won’t make mistakes or get greedy. Therefore, we haven’t much of a chance to stop them. And we’ll keep McDermott, cycle OC’s and probably ask Josh to make the Offense work because 80% of the assets needs to go to creating a loaded Defense for our Defensive Head Coach who can’t perform against elite QB’s when it matters. Fun times to be in the AFC… where there’s always Mahomes as well as the added bonus of Burrow if his team gets their act together.

Honestly shocked the refs made so many suspicious calls for the Chiefs, again… after all week the spotlight was on Chiefs/NFL officiating. It’s like they took it as a challenge to one up the Texans game. Theres the slow start from Allen, who ended up balling out after. But due to the shortcomings of this roster/coachng staff, we can’t afford an Allen slow start. Theres McDermott’s Defense once again folding against the Chiefs. Theres Allen’s playmakers once again choking the game away in a big spot. Theres Beane’s high picks getting exposed as Xavier Worthy makes plays. But even with all of that.. what could have been if the refs didn’t steal a possession from us up 1, in Chiefs territory, 4th Quarter. Every. Time. It’s all anyone remembers from this game. It’s all anyone is talking about. The fact the Bills got screwed and the Chiefs were helped out by officials. But the NFL doesn’t care.. and maybe they even want it this way.

Josh didn’t choke. I said he did early, but he pulled it together and played Mahomes pretty evenly. (As he usually does) And per usual, Mahomes Defense plays better, his playmakers don’t fold under pressure and the refs give him game altering calls.

Bills were up 1, in the 4th with a 1st down in Chiefs territory… until the refs decided otherwise. Allen started slow, Kincaid sold the game and McDermott’s Defense was predictable trash most of the night… … but I can’t really focus on much more than the fact big calls, once again, went the Chiefs way - including the absolutely inexcusable 4th down spot that changed the entire trajectory of the 4th Quarter.

Bad playcalling, but this is why the Chiefs win. Refs decide games for them.

Horrible half of football. Somehow only down 5. It is what it is. Either McDermott’s Defense figures out something second half or we’re back to the doomsday realization that McDermott needs everyone healthy on his Defense or it’s game over.. and who even knows if that’s enough. Big half for McDermott. Allen redeemed himself after a bad start. Can McDermott, Babich and our Defense do the same? If they can, we’re going to the Super Bowl.

At the end of the day, down 3 or down 5.. nothing matters if our Defense can’t get stops in the second half.

You had to figure, at some point, someone would stop the play that goes to the same side every time. Great decision. Frustrating to see the overload and Josh still goes there.

I can’t believe this is what we get from our Defense, again, playing Kansas City. I just don’t even know what to say anymore.

This is honestly pathetic. So disappointing.

I understand getting points there because Josh Allen seriously needs to calm down and does not look like a guy who would convert a 4th down there. However, McDermott is again trusting his defense… his defense that traditionally (including one drive already) completely folds against KC in the big moments.

Allen has now killed both drives to start the game.

Tim Walz set up a snitch hotline. Newsom poured sand in skate parks. Gyms all over NY & NJ were shut down for laughable periods of time. The benefits of a 24 hour fast are immediate. Your body starts changing relatively quickly into a healthier change of diet. There was zero reason, aside from profit motive, to not plaster the benefits of C, D and Zinc from the CDC every moment of every day. How are we still doing this…. Trump had zero new wars as President in round 1. And will likely end the Israeli/Palestine & Russia/Ukraine wars. You know this, deep down.. I know you do. And I know, you know, we’re not actually going to war with Denmark, just stop it already. To start, more policing. Tough to invest in an area that can’t even support a Walgreens. Pushing social initiatives encouraging fathers to be involved and celebrating the nuclear family. Maybe stop sending illegal migrants into their shelters and schools to disrupt teaching and after school activities. To stop diverting the funds they have from the actual citizens of that city. Somehow I doubt the man you feel superior to in that post has meme coins…

So who is advancing it? Those who locked us down, told us to order junk food and forbade means to exercise when facing a virus that preys on fat people in bad cardiovascular health? Those who pushed the pharma solution by attempted mandate for profit, knowing there were side effects, while unable to find it within themselves to tell people to lose weight, exercise and take Vitamins C, D and Zinc? Those who refuse to learn the lesson of overextended imperialism via war, while leaving our own borders wide open? Those who count on the vote of desperate inner city folks they keep in failing schools, giving just enough to earn their reliance, while never enough to allow them to advance in life? Those who rely on censorship and control of communication to quell pushback of their narrative? Unable to compete in the marketplace of ideas without their thumb on the scale. Is sacrifice of the unborn for convenience and the mutilation of children advanced to you? Nah, it’s apparently the white hillbilly. The only population you’ll allow yourself to feel openly superior to.

THIS. Kansas City’s secondary and offensive line play the holding game all the time in the playoffs, simply betting that refs won’t call it. It’s why you need pressure up the middle and power rushes off the edge to get to Mahomes in the playoffs. Our only hope for finesse rushers like AJ, is that Thuney can’t get his T-Rex arms on him quick enough, given his elite first step.

Did we play Kansas City last week? McDermott gets his flowers for the Baltimore game. If we lost, after what the defense did in the first half, it would have been on the conservative offense that didn’t execute in the second half. Now do it against the team that has ended our season 3 of the last 4 years.
