this is a logical post, and u will find that many on this board hate logic.
-
no doubt we need a QB, have needed one since Kelly retired, but to overreact, overreach, overspend, well thats one the biggest problems with most people in this society. its a gambling mentality disease, and it rarely pays out. your 17yr drought will turn into what if we miss on picking a QB this upcoming draft? the thing about common sense, its not all that common.

the old time tested black and white of the world. if he cant now he never will... cept very little in life is black or white. there are different levels of pressure for every player. and its not even about the pressure, its about making sure u dont put your fresh shiny new QB in a situation that gets his confidence killed, remember David Carr?
-
no they were not, but u act as if their greatness is a foregone conclusion already. each of them has had 1 good year. kinda like the Deshaun Watson bandwagon that has formed. Dude played good in 4 games..... only way it would be "our year" is if we had a legit top 5 pick that didnt cost us the rest of our draft to use. none of these QBs scream next great thing. if youre willing to gamble on one of these guys, with as much draft capital it will take, well, i find that extremely reckless.

ffs if our running game didnt get our offense up by 14 points in a game we had no chance of winning it. our fricken QB couldnt THROW!!!! how are u so blind to not see that favors every defense we went up against? one year it was the defense fault, nother year it was the offensive coordinators fault, next year it was lack of receivers, you know the one constant to our horrible passing game? Tyrod fricken Taylor. smh.

Is Josh Rosen really the QB that the Bills covet?
bigduke6 replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if we had tanked, and could take any QB with our high first round pick, id go with Rosen. Hes by far the best passing QB in this draft. word is hes probably the most intelligent as well. 2 strengths i would love to have in a QB. But to mortgage the future for him, im not sold. Scariest thing about Rosen for me is whether he would actually want to play in this city. hes a bright kid, and when i look at him i see Eli Manning not wanting to play in San Diego. lot of investment for a kid if thats the case. Think Mayfield would be a better fit here, but i dont like the offense hes coming from. -
gonna be a rough year for the Brownies. u have a WR who needs his touches, and a QB who hates throwing the ball especially where this new WR loves to catch it. should be fun to watch. rmbr when Sammy started to get upset with Tyrod for not throwing to him? have fun Cleveland.
-
starting to question if u watched the Bills for the last 3 years.
-
there are some on this board that would love to mortgage the entire draft on a QB that they know nothing about. cuz its fresh new and shiny. willing to gamble away their future for a sub 50% chance at the next great NFL QB. and there are others that logically look at the situation.

we all know how much Tyrod loves the middle of the field

too much logic in your post, you may make this forum explode.

So is our QB from Free Agency or Draft?
bigduke6 replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lol he wasnt contemplating his retirement because of his play......cmon -
Landry should have 200 receptions this year for 400 total yrds with Tyrod throwing to him.
-
sure Tyrod converted a few 3rds with his legs, but most of the time he couldnt convert them, pretty much why hes outta here. you need a QB who can pass, end of story. he couldnt. one dimensional offenses dont win Super Bowls. they just make it easy on opposing defenses. Tyrod is so valuable that we got a 3rd rounder.....which is actually a good get.

Philly deadline to get under the cap: Nick Foles
bigduke6 replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
absolutely no way this can be answered. nobody, scouts, GMs, family members, you, I, nobody knows what these kids will do in the league. -
intelligence>physical gifts. one of the most important things Bill Parcells taught Belichick about players. prbly y the Patsies have the most college grads on their team. take it for what its worth.
-
i seem to remember alot of field goals that year
-
me either, but id make an exception for Landry.
-
watching OSU shut down Barkley this past season makes me wonder just how special he really is. Tbh, i saw a bunch of his games and never once thought, top 5 prospect. much easier to find a good RB later rounds than other more important positions.
-
appears Haley cant get along with anybody so i kinda feel bad for Tyrod already. It wont take long for the AFC North defenses to feast on Tyrods inability in the passing game. I went over to the Browns forums to read their reactions, half hate the trade, half saying bridge QB, a bunch thinking Tyrod is a major upgrade because he doesnt turn the ball over. turnover ratio is nice, but they'll eventually learn that he wont lose u the game, but he wont be winning it for them either. their plan is, run run run, Tyrod manage the game. Sounds familiar. for a team that hasnt smelled a win in a long time, mbe the Browns fans will love those 6-8 wins and forget the negatives of their new QB. Also, "Tyrod would have been better if he wasnt on a team with no talent. " unnamed Browns fan.

only thing drawing fans to watch the Colts is Luck. He wont be traded unless the orginization knows his shoulder is shot.

#1 of course, how a year makes a difference huh? Must be the player and not the coaching staff. i smh at the people who love Dashaun Watson all of a sudden, guy did it for 4 games. 4, we have no idea if its sustainable or not. Was a very good college player, but 4 games means everybody wiffed on him and hes going into the HoF eventually?. He very well could be the best QB of that draft, and a future Hofer, but nobody really knows. Not at this point anyways.
