if u werent blind u knew both Lines were a problem even last year. i wonder if theres more to it than that tho. i wonder if there isnt a lockerroom problem this year. i have my suspicions as to what that problem may be. if im correct that problem will not be going away, and there wont be any fixing of this team till its gone.

i dont know why people dont chip Gronk at the line every friggen time they can. giving him a free release is just asking to let him catch the ball on time and make a play.

he was open, but he didnt have a lane to throw it too him. the D end dropped back and blocked it.

i guess being a trash running team doesnt help the WRs get open in the redzone...

problem is, the adjustment that allowed the d to start making plays against the run came too late. the pats ate up most of our offenses time with the wind last night. can our d stop the run?. sure, but they didnt when it was needed.

didnt read the whole thread, our run d wasnt THE problem, but it was definitely a problem. when u give up that many yards on basically 3 different plays, when u knew the opposition was going to do it, play after play after play, and u cant adjust to it until late in the 3rd quarter, thats a problem. did the D lose us this game, nah, the O was atrocious all around and cost us the game, but our defense got hammered by the most basic of running games. problem. tbh ive never seen a team do that to another team in modern football. Epenesa was so bad against that one running play, he should be cut.

no i dont want to have 20 million tied up at one position, but thats what we have atm.....u work with what u have till the end of the season. id rather have Edmunds at a 50% player price

im not on the fire McD bus yet. our coordinators are upsetting me tho. we seem to either make no adjustments or make them waaaay tooooo late to matter. thats poor and a huge problem. this team is set up to play one way on offense and defense. that is also a problem. youre gonna run into teams that take what u love to do away, and if u cant adjust to it youre gonna get alot of Ls. D is in light nickel every play, so they get run on. O is a spread team that cant run, so in poor weather or against good pass D teams, they cant score. you either figure it out, or get figured out. right now feels like our team has been figured out. time to adjust.

Klein wasnt available last night, but when he is, id much rather have him in on possible run plays. let Edmunds be the coverage guy on passing downs. Klein is also a much better pass rusher than Edmunds imo

this has been Edmunds' MO the entire time hes here. he's terrible between the tackles. hes very good in zone coverage sideline to sideline. so when u go against a team that will pound the rock hes gonna show baaaaad. against passing teams with weaker run games he looks servicable. also. most of those runs last night made Epenesa look like he shouldnt be playing football. same play over and over, and he cant figure out whats happening to him. totally out of the play....every friggen play he was in for.
