hows Dorseys run game philosophy? im not worried about the passing game, im sure that Josh and the WRs could call their own plays and still be successful. i want to know about the running game.

find it interesting that a Michigan booster, would steal Jim away from the Wolverines just as he finally beat OSU. why would the both of them willingly want to draw the ire of the entirety of University of Michigan. i think if hes hired down there, he'll continue to be sub par like he was for nearly the entirety of his Michigan tenure. unless he suddenly lucks into a QB that can rival ours, which i dont see happening. college is a different beast, if u have a meh QB, u can cover it up with surrounding talent, NFL, not so much.

Chefs win the toss and score immediately the NFL will have to take another look at this garbage overtime system. u cant expect a gassed D to play great against an O with a a game on the line everytime. theres a reason why the flip winners are winning overtime by a huge margin.

clearly Cincys D line learned from how ours failed, flying up field and losing contain on Patty doesnt work, holding your lanes and waiting for him to get antsy does.

well with those home vs away stats i guess we shouldnt have f'd around during the season and lost a few games that should have been absolute wins. i remember some peeps on here telling me to calm down during one of the tire fire games against a crap team where we lost, and i replied, hey, do u want to play the Chefs in Arrowhead in January? i was told, dont worry bout it, everything will work out, Chefs are bad, etc etc etc. here we sit. next season, dominate every friggen game like its your last. youre playing for home field advantage. we dont want to go to Arrowhead again.

has the season ended for me? Yup. i loved football, grew up on it, been a Bills fan since the late 80's, pretty much all my life. for a long time i loved to watch all the games, any game i could find. as ive gotten older, ive grown tired of what the game is becoming. multiple reasons for the growing disinterest and dislike, which i wont bother going into. i still love to watch the Bills, good or bad, i find little interest in anything beyond them nowadays.

wait, Ju Ju is interested in going from a team with zero QB next season, to one that has a generational talent? color me surprised...im sure the Chefs will offer him a garbage contract, and he will be all too happy to accept it.

saturate the market with inferior products, people will just care less about the whole. least CFL is different enough from the NFL to be somewhat entertaining. Arena League, XFL, all the gimmicks didnt help them due to the terrible football. Hell, even the NFL has a terrible football problem each week, half the teams in the league are unwatchable and thats with the best players. also, back on topic, F Jeff Fisher.

not going to read this entire thread, responding to the OPs original question. no, emphatic no, we are not overreacting to the 13 seconds. in no way shape or form should any team be allowed to move the ball 40+ yards in that short amount of time for a chance to win short of a hail mary or some stupid gadget play that they get extremely lucky on. the kickoff should have been squibbed to take at least 5 sec off the clock prevent defense should not have been used. our coaching staff played scared at the end, and i understand that, Chefs O is definitely scary. rush 3, flood the short zones if the d is so gassed. make Mahomes either run quick and then swarm too him, or make him dance around wasting time trying to find a passcatcher. make them earn those yards , dont just hand it too them. coaches better learn from this monumental choke job, if they dont, they wont be employed anymore. to give that game up in 13 seconds is an all time embarrassing feat. its worse than losing 4 straight SBs imo. its the kind of fail that sticks with a team. they all better work their asses off to remove that stink before next season.

alot of strong opinions around here. McD isnt perfect, this is his first head coaching gig. he's taken a perennial terrible team to the playoffs most of his tenure. gone deep twice. he has shown the ability to learn from his mistakes and change. u dont just throw that guy away, and bring in somebody new. zero guarantee that the new guy meshes with everybody, personality, scheme, etc. consistency, and growth is how u build perennial PLAYOFF teams. if McD doesnt learn from this, then its time to rethink his status, be careful tho, the grass isnt always greener.

hes this decades version of Donte Whitner for this team, just as a LB instead of a safety. racking up dem tackles 10 yards down the field.

honestly, i dont see anything we can do defensively to stop Mahomes. other than constant pressure and keeping him in the pocket with just 4. thats extremely hard to do against any team tbh. there really are no answers for QBs like Mahomes and Allen. just ask Belichick. you just have to score more than them, and hope they screw up somehow. or play actual defense for 10 friggen seconds.....

nobody in this league is scared of Edmunds in the run game, or as a pass rusher. hes a big semi fast dude with a huge wingspan thats good at zone coverage. thats about it. hes not an impact player. hes a guy. u dont pay, a guy, top $$$$. u cant or it messes up your cap. hes pretty good at what they ask him to do, but hes only got 1 tool out of 3. also, his leverage on tackles is attrocious. consistently gets blown up or blocked out of plays. he has a terrible time getting low or shedding blockers. i dont see how u can give him big $$$ playing like this. #1 defense or not.
