I've been a longtime season ticket holder for the Bills...I have absolutely no desire to pay for PSL's and all of the other prices that would go into remaining a STM at the new stadium.  There's so many other things I would rather spend that kind of money on.

and its a shame youre being forced to even make that decision.   profit is fine,  getting rich off a product is fine.  outright greed at the expense of the consumers is not.  good vibes to u.

  2. Diggs was very good while here.  zero issues with his effort up till the 2nd half of last season when it appeared he was either being fazed out,  or doing it himself.   clearly he wanted out.  bye.  we would miss prime Diggs this season,  but he isnt prime Diggs anymore.  the FO took a huge hit to make him go away,  and got a decent return in doing so.  thats a win in my book.   Texans paid to get 600 catches max and mbe 5 TDs on a one year rental.  moving on.

  3. wait until the hedgefund bros sink their teeth into the NFL.  you dont like it now?  watch out.   only thing you can do is vote with your wallet.  you continue to show the NFL that its ok to do somewhat shady sh!t,  they'll continue on,  and then some.   i see people get upset about things like this all the time,  in many different corporate sectors,  and they continue to open up that wallet.  your power,  is your money,  and how you use it.  thats it.

i dont blame the corpos,  sure they could choose a different path,  but they wont,  cuz ez money.   i blame the consumers who act like drug addicted clowns with their money.  yall dont like the direction economically this country is going,  stop feeding these greedy f@cks.

  4. i have zero expectations this year beyond competing at a high level in every game.  the schedule alone is enough to make me question any outcome of the season.  add in that the AFC is still a murderers row of teams and QBs compared to the NFC.  every single week feels like a must win in order to get that home playoffs throughout,  and thats just ridiculously improbable in this NFL.   as long as JA17 is healthy and doing his thing ill be invested,  because hes that dynamic,  that much fun to watch.  beyond that,  who knows.

Oof. Private equity is the equivalent of the  Richard Gere in Pretty Woman/Gordan Gecko 80s stereotype of running the companies they get a stake in to the proverbial chop shop.

Remember Red Lobster a few months ago? They got acquired by private equity who sold the real estate their locations were built on from under them. They will have the companies they bought take on debt to purchase assets the firm can flip for a profit and then leave the company they used to borrow against out to dry

And the owners were ok with this?!?

greed gonna greed.   now the super millionaires and billionaires of the NFL arent stupid,  they didnt become that rich by being lazy and dumb,  so theres a good chance that this possible deal wont go south.  stranger things have happened to greedy people though.  more becomes an addiction,  that can at times lead to disaster.

  6. last QB i can remember coming back from an achilles was Marino,  and he was never the same.   happened late in his career as well.   now apparently we've advanced on the football injury front over the decades,  but this still is a show me first type scenario with Rodgers.  moving around in practice where you cant actually be touched is not the same as game speed.  ive seen a few vids of Rodgers this past training camp and he doesnt look all that smooth doing the normal QB dropback turnaround hand off or throw type things.

Jests have a very very good D,  but if Rodgers cant hack it,  its back to 7 wins for them,  Saleh gets fired,  and Rodgers probably finally f's off to do his weird off season im smarter than everybody, pay attention to me sh*t fulltime,  and hopefully fades away into obscurity.

Jests have questions in a few key spots.  DLine may not be the everydown monster they were in previous seasons.  they lost some depth there.

OLine,  protecting that 40 year old world traveler/achilles survivor and fully inoculated alt hero is still not proven and full of guys who get injured all the time themselves.  should be fun.

  7. nothing good ever happens for the consumer when Private Equity gets involved,  nothing.   i dont care about the parameters of this potential deal. PE is all about the return on investment at the expense of everything else.   might not seem like much right now,  but its a very slippery slope and greed gonna greed.  seen it too many times,  in too many industries.  if PE doesnt wreck the NFL,  it will be the first time they havent destroyed an entity that they've sunk their fangs into.

    It's crap like this ^

It's Bernard and Jones as the starters.

Andreeson looked good last night BUT IT"S PRESEASON!!! I bet he makes the team... but in no way will he start over Jones and Bernard. Nice to have solid depth though, no doubt. Go BILLS!

happen to notice Jones is no longer with the team?  asking for a friend.

  9. as soon as i saw this seasons schedule i tempered my expectations immensely.  its yet another must win every week year,  and thats asking too much in the modern NFL.  i have serious doubts that we even win the division this year.   hoping for a Wildcard is about as positive i can get,  especially with all the injuries and the turnover.   then its probably one and done,  playing on somebody elses homefield in the conference where being a top 5 team guarantees nothing cuz,  Chefs,  Burrows,  Lamar/Ravens D.    we finally get rid of Brady and the Pats,  and now the road seems just as difficult cuz all the talent is in the AFC.  sucks.

  10. im extremely satisfied that my tax money is helping build this taj mahal of a small market stadium so fans like me can be priced out of buying pleb seating tickets.  what a fantastic deal.  JA17 wont play forever,  and when we get stuck in the next 20 year cycle of trash QBs that lead this team to irrelevancy,  these fancy club seats gonna look real empty.   hey,  thats capitalism though.  get others to pay for it so you can make the $$$$.   go team.
