not a fan of Hamlins to be sure, but on that play i think he backed off cuz he was worried about the RB taking off for a pass. what i saw anyways, could be wrong. my first reaction was the same as yours though, then i looked at the replay.
he stopped after he hurt his hand. so he cant brace himself with that hand now, and i imagine the coaches are worried about him fumbling. just a guess mind you.
how the f do you go from pounding teams offensively first 3 weeks to this garbage? i dont care how good those teams were or not, the Titans arent much better, yet here we are. something strange has to be going on behind the scenes.
i despise this passing attack. theres zero way there is nobody open on every single damn play. this is either on Josh or Brady. the word on Brady before he even got playcalling duties was he couldnt scheme his way out of a paper bag when it comes to the passing game. appears to be correct. yes hes brought us a run game finally, but you cant have a one dimensional offense and win a Super Bowl.
1st three games of the season this offense could do no wrong. since then even the simple things are a struggle. its mind boggling. the D is the same D as always, soft.
Diggs wanted out, got a 2nd for him. Cooper comes in, fills a huge need for a 3rd. hes a rental, but maybe he resigns next season. Diggs would have been gone next season if he'd stayed this season so its mostly a wash depending on how Coop plays.
