Someone needs to be fired over Mahomes right now.
Gigs replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills could have Bell, Gronk and Mahomes and still be in the drought. Just because one player excels on one team doesn’t mean he will somewhere else. If Brady wasn’t a Patriot what are the chances he ever sees the field? It took a Mo Lewis hit for that to happen. He could’ve played 3 years as a backup and retired -

How tf is he deliusional when this team trades talent, makes the playoffs and turns over more talent with back up players. You’re delusional if you think this team is anywhere BUT a mess. A rookie QB with NO protection? No D Line? Rookie Mike who shouldn’t be out there yet. I could keep going. They traded a capable veteran for peanuts and then traded his replacement for more peanuts so they can start a goodie two shoes the HC likes. This team is a !@#$ing mess

Sporting News article - Are Bills in fact rudderless?
Gigs replied to KOKO NFL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When the HC chooses his QB based on religion, we are in fact rudderless. McD has an affinity for Peterman based off of his religion. It doesnt work in politics and it doesn’t work in football. Keep Jesus on the bench -
I’ve seen worse QBs here than EJ Manuel and Tyrod Taylor, and we’ve had worse GMs bringing in no talent whatsoever...but those 3 men were def treated like they were the worst. I guarantee I’ll get flamed for it, but I saw what I saw and heard what I heard. I watched EJ Manuel march 90+ yards on a game winning drive in his 2nd game and throw a winning TD...and be called worse than Trent Edwards and Kelly Holcomb. People didn’t hate on Losman as hard as Taylor. If it isn’t racism, then idk how to explain why Whaley, who brought in more talent than any GM since Polian, getting flamed harder than Marc Levy’s tenure that really set us back. Drew Bledsoe couldn’t get us to the playoffs in ‘02 with almost 5,000 yards passing and dumbasses on here will scream that Tyrod’s lack of production is solely on him and somehow that lack of production won more games than Bledsoe.... I know people deny this vehemently and I guarantee it will be loud and an attack on me...that my friends, will be the proof in the pudding. In fact almost every post here is vehement denial of something nobody here is being directly accused of. ?

Star Lotulelei: Where is the Impact?
Gigs replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The homers on this board would have you believe he’s some sort of genius for trading away all the talent Whaley/Nix spent the better part of 5 years amassing. Dont playoff teams usually build off of their successes? $50 million fully guaranteed contract for Shady -
The Pats are a team of musical chairs. And keeping 2 coaches and a QB, then trading or firing everyone else isn’t continuity. You’re right about the plan, which is superior to whatever lame talentless plan McBeane has, but even you supported my point that continuity means nothing in today’s NFL. It’s about talent and game planning, which the Pats have. Also last year’s team was a Whaley produced team with McDermott running it. They got worse when they traded away their best players towards the end of the season, and lucked into the playoffs off a desperation 4th down in a completely different game. I like the mentality McDermott brings to the locker room because comaraderie means more than continuity. However, he’s a softy. He will prop up goodie two shoes like “faith man” Peterman even tho everyone and his mother knew he sucked eggs. That’s not a good thing. I am starting to see McD as a Dick Jauron type, where DJ wanted those “high motor” “lunchpale” types like Chris Kelsay. I don’t want to see that again, but I am. I am seeing them trade away top talent like Dareus because he is the opposite of a “faith man” like Peterman. I know many pro McBeanes will flame me, whatever, it doesn’t change what is going on. Find me a winner who is as wholesome and clean as Peterman is. There’s a reason guys like him suck. There’s a reason even the best “faith men” can’t win; like Philip Rivers. No edge = No wins. You need that big head entitlement to be a winner. You have to take what’s yours...not fight a battle against evil or something like you’re David or something lame like that. Namath, Brady, Favre, Mannings, Roethlisburger, honestly you could keep naming guys who were HOF good and always outnumber a list of Tebow’s and Petermans with their power being men of “faith.” You have to grab the NFL by the Lombardi; when you’re a superstar they let you do it.

Like how the Pats* have had one HC and QB but EVERYONE there has been replaced, found a job at another team or were fired outright. Kind of evicerates your point that the most successful team of all time doesn’t have that kind of continuity you claim they have lol. Wooooosh
-
Haha, yeah. The pegulas to me seem really easy to sway or charm, and Terry always has a soft spot for people. I really feel they could go 0-16 and not until they appear to suck next year will they finally do something. Maybe.
-
Unless the pegulas already know it’s the plan and have given them more than a year, I see them staying if we win nothing or maybe a game or two. BUT if they suck next year with barely any improvement I can see them getting the axe. The playoffs last year bought them time for sure. What do you think would happen if they successfully tanked last year but looked as good as they did, and then last Sunday happens the exact same....do you think McBeane would make it to 0-6 without the hottest of seats? The playoffs gave them another year to suck and keep their jobs

McBeane gave Peterman his shot....

I’d rather have a team of EJs than a team with one Peterman on the bench. Stick a fork in him -
He’s a good Christian man like the HC...so he’s safe. Why else would McD have to “look at the tape” for a fair assessment? He’s giving him every chance in the world because he has a weakness for guys like that.
-
I’m glad they started and left him in, just so now the idiots whom supported him after his first flop can finally see he’s ducking horrible. Easily the worst QB to ever play in the NFL. Couldn’t hold a male cheerleader’s jock. As I called it, he was merely a sacrificial lamb. I’m sure the brainstrust foresaw this as I did however I’m sure they didn’t think he’d blow it that bad that quick. If it were 10-0 with the same shtit performance he’d be pulled still and Allen would’ve had a better shot at doing something. Regardless, stick yet another fork in Peterman. Dude was DOA, and the preseason was the only lifeline he had.

peterman only looked good in preseason because

Would the #1 pick be that bad? I feel McDermott and Beane got another couple years for getting to the playoffs. I’m sure if they bombed this year the Pegs would tie a good showing next year with extensions. Id rather we win every game but I’m not 10 anymore and can see how 2000s this team looks right now. No offensive line is like an automatic 10 losses. Rex Ryan farted his way to mediocrity on the coattails of a good trench. McDermott with a good line on both sides can easily win 10+, just not this year for sure.
