I thought the same during the game. Where did all of the pre snap motion and crossers go? The creativity? Two weeks ago it was like “whelp we’re gonna lose this guy” to this. The first down runs have to stop! It’s maddening.

He always says that he likes to go into the draft without any glaring holes so he can be flexible - so I would assume atleast a safety is goin go to be added. Maybe another WR / D-lineman

Agree that 4-5 million seems steep. I believe it will be around 3 million. A thing to remember is he was playing out of his natural position which was Poyers spot last year so we may see a significant improvement. They have proven that they can find guys in the secondary. I have felt for years that we shouldn’t have been paying our secondary guys so much because I don’t see any drop off really from one guy to the next. I hope they bring in a rangy proven vet/youngish next to him and it’ll be all good. Either way this regime has earned my trust in the secondary.
