  1. An unfortunate reality. I wouldn't feel so bad about it if it didn't bother Poyer so much.
  2. Colts, Dolphins and even Chiefs. Let's just see if we can win out before we start bragging about who's hotter.
  3. Some of us still have Post-Brady Beatdown Syndrome. We need time to recover.
  4. Timing is key, and so is being vaxxed. This isn't that difficult.
  5. I think we're all aware that vaccinated people can get it. I think we're also aware of how being vaccinated allows you the chance to come back sooner. Davis is illogically drawing the line with this shot, and to me that is unacceptable.
  6. As I've said three times now, NFL protocols allow vaccinated players to return more quickly. Some fans seem to somehow ignore the fact that there's a difference.
  7. Do you understand that protocols allow vaccinated players to return more quickly?
  8. Doesn't matter. Protocols allow vaxxed players to return much faster.
  9. Horribly disappointing. Davis has had all kinds of shots in his life, and blows to his head, but this vaccination is where he draws the line for some horribly illogical reason. I don't know how he can look at his teammates, his coaches, and the fans, and be proud of his decision.
  10. I think this was worse. Far worse. That's one play. Every single Bills drive was infuriating to watch, and the D wasn't much better since they couldn't stop the run against a team that literally refused to throw.
  11. Pats were about as one dimensional as it ever gets and we couldn't stop the run to save our lives.
  12. Yeah, don't remember saying that it's the worst.
  13. I want visiting teams to dread coming to Buffalo in the winter. I want them to look at the weather reports and start figuring out how to mentally prepare for what is to come.
  14. Don't forget the stadium situation. I blame him for a lot, but I've let it go. This is a new team with a new owner, thank God.
  15. We don't have to implode, we just have to lose one or two more games than the eleven teams in contention for seven spots. Patriots are in our rearview mirror and if we lose Sunday we are no longer in sole control of our destiny. Time to get tough and I'd like to see us as close to full strength as possible for the upcoming stretch.
  16. It's only when I recently accepted that we probably aren't going to deliver on expectations this year that I finally was able to let go of said expectations. Now if we go on a tear then I'm back on the hype train, but for now it's parked back at the station.
  17. That's a little bold at this point. I think we need to show we can still win some games before we start talking about playoffs.
  18. We have enough problems to worry about with consistency no matter what teams we face.
  19. Thank you for putting how I've felt, but been unable to explain, on paper. Our wins just haven't sat right with me and it's because the lopsided scores did not properly reflect the on-field performance. Perhaps I just need to get used to this and ride the ups with the downs until we see what kind of team we are heading into playoffs. If this is just how our team operates, I'll accept that. The week 13 game against Bucs should be a fantastic test to see how things are shaping up.
  20. I have no idea why my post copied itself three times, but I edited it. Sorry about that. It's one of those plays where most of the time you get those inches. I personally trust that better than our chances in overtime. But I also wouldn't mind the play you described.
  21. Agreed on all counts. Very frustrating game to watch. We made that offense look better than it is. On top of that the pace was all over the place and watching two touchdown plays get flagged was infuriating, as was the lack of red zone production, as was our inability to gain a few inches on the final 4th down. Right call though. It reminds me of when Bruce Arians did it in Arizona, and he was quoted afterwards saying "I play to win". Hell yeah. I'm looking forward to the Tampa Bay game to see how well we'll match up against another playoff team after we've had some time to work on things.
  22. Out of sheer ugliness alone I cannot support this.
  23. Two touchdowns called back so I feel pretty good. I have a feeling we will see these guys again though, and at that point these costly penalties will be unacceptable.
  24. We lost in the AFC championship last year. That's our greatest accomplishment in the last two+ decades. We're nowhere near deserving the label of potential dynasty, let alone actual dynasty. Let's see how this season goes first.
