  1. There’s NOTHING that Goodell has done that is good for the NFL. And I mean nothing.
  2. You clearly don’t get out much. 😉 There are MANY flights direct from LAX to just about everywhere in the world. Ours was on Virgin Atlantic but there are others. Aha. I didn’t watch his show or hear the clip. But I’d did think it was funny that we saw him spill his red vines…which he was sucking down in the boarding area. And yes Heathrow was packed with Bills fans on Thursday morning when we arrived. But other than being a bit groggy from the flight, I didn’t see anyone doing anything other than greeting each other with the customary “Go Bills”!
  3. Rich Eisen boarded the plane from LAX literally right in front of me on Wednesday afternoon. He was the last one on in upper class and we were right behind him in business class. He then proceeded to drop a bunch of red vines all over the boarding area. His ‘entourage’ was a total of two people and being as the flight was coming from Los Angeles I can honestly say I counted a total of THREE people wearing Bills gear. So In short, if he actually complained….sounds like he’s full of crap.
  4. So far I’ve seen only two guys in Jags gear while I was walking in Kensington Gardens yesterday …but there are literally thousands and thousands of Bills fans all over the City. Way to represent, people!
  5. Good thing the Falcons didn’t notice Von Miller sitting there! That was close! 😉
  6. I’m going to trust that this kid sees this as his one shot to prove he’s not a total bust. Let’s hope he has some inner motivation and pride.
  7. Any relation to Herb Atterly? 😉
  8. Being a lifelong Bills fanatic I’ve been burned way too often to dabble in a burner account.
  9. The question is who moves up to get Caleb Williams? Or, do the Bears kick Fields to the proverbial curb.
  10. I think the Experience itself is free…. no?
  11. Wait, wasn’t it supposed to be hard to win in the NFL? Kidding people….relax.
  12. Breakfast at the hotel, and then grab something on the way to Tottenham! GO BILLS
  13. We were stuck in traffic on the expressway bridge going over Big Tree road. We could see the stadium lights from the bridge, but heard the call on the radio. Sheeesh
  14. I still have a box somewhere with EVERY photo from the Buffalo Evening News and the Courier Express of Rich Stadium while it was under construction. Looking back, I’m guessing it’s one of the things from my childhood that inspired me to become an architect. Go figure!
  15. The scoreboard was $1 million, and had state of the art video capability…even if it’s just a bunch of lightbulbs presenting a VERY black and white pixelated image. Incredible how much that technology has changed over the years.
  16. I was there. And, for those who don’t recall, the Bills were NOT terrible in 1973. There was incredible optimism and national focus with OJ going off for 250 yards in the season opener against the Patriots in Foxboro. A few weeks later, Monday Night Football came to Buffalo for the first time and it felt like we’d made the big time!
  17. Anybody know whether taking him on a cart tells us anything? I’ve often heard that you can walk on an Achilles tear.
  18. Does anyone know if Puna Ford is playing at all? I can’t say I’ve heard his name mentioned.
  19. Agreed! And I’m told he’s just barely seventeen years old. 😉
  20. Thank you! I was literally screaming at the television on the holding of #11! That was unbelievable. The drive would’ve ended there.
  21. Still showing really nice weather next weekend. 😎 But it’s London, so ya never know.
  22. Weather forecast shows 74 and bright sunshine tomorrow in WNY. Anybody know which team gets the sunny sideline? 😉
  23. I was there. And….I still keep the ticket stub in my wallet to this very day. 👍
  24. I’d simplify it. McD is known as a defensive coach. After his first few years learning the ropes as a head coach he now has his feet firmly underneath him and feels comfortable also taking over the responsibilities of the defense. (Somewhat the opposite of Andy Reid in KC) What McD needs now is an OFFENSIVE specialist that can match the skill set of his franchise quarterback. Is Dorsey the guy? I’m not sure whether anybody knows yet, but I’m leaning towards…not. We’re all going to see.
