With all due respect, it’s a tough situation for sure. Again, I personally LOST MY HOUSE!!! But the current fire is nowhere near SoFi Stadium Lived at the foot of the Cajon Pass for decades…..tell me about it. Winds are brutal. Be safe!

Thanks….you learn you can get through just about anything. As far as the current fire goes you’d be surprised how you can be just a few miles from the fire and have almost no idea that anything is happening at all. It’s perfectly calm and sunny at my house this afternoon. If I look out just the right window I can see the smoke plume over the hillside. Absolutely not. The freeways were all open this morning for the regular commute. Neither fire is near a major freeway

They should. I lost a house to a wildfire some years ago. The stadium is more or less crosswind from the smoke plume, which blowing out towards the ocean. These events are much more localized than a hurricane or blizzard.

I have to agree. The entire facility will be a huge upgrade over Rich Stadium but it’s no palace. (Although I don’t think it’s intended to be)

I live about 15 miles from the Pacific Palisades. The fire is nowhere near SoFi stadium. Not even close.

With a seventeen game regular season seems like we need LESS teams making the playoffs rather than more. My two cents.

Been playing with house money all year long. I had very little expectations going into this season. It’s been a fun watch and I truly hope it continues. It’d be just so Buffalo to win it all when very few saw it coming.

McD took his team to ONE championship game, and that was during a pandemic. Come on man!

We’re just going in circles. I cannot believe ANYONE legitimately believes that McDs playoff record compares to Reid taking the Eagles to the championship game multiple times. Lots of homerism on here today.

The point isn’t the number of games you played but the quality of the competition. You need look no further than this years expanded college playoff. Just because lesser teams are now playoff teams, it doesn’t equate to when only the best teams qualified.

Not sure why it has to be anyone but McD has yet to get to Reid’s level. He just hasn’t.

I chose to skip yesterday’s glorified preseason game on television and instead listened to the WGR radio broadcast on my laptop. It was great! Reminded me of back in the old days hugging my little transistor radio listening to Van Miller from the Rockpile. The only annoying thing was they kept playing the exact same commercials over and over and over again
