  1. I think the Experience itself is free…. no?
  2. Wait, wasn’t it supposed to be hard to win in the NFL? Kidding people….relax.
  3. Breakfast at the hotel, and then grab something on the way to Tottenham! GO BILLS
  4. We were stuck in traffic on the expressway bridge going over Big Tree road. We could see the stadium lights from the bridge, but heard the call on the radio. Sheeesh
  5. I still have a box somewhere with EVERY photo from the Buffalo Evening News and the Courier Express of Rich Stadium while it was under construction. Looking back, I’m guessing it’s one of the things from my childhood that inspired me to become an architect. Go figure!
  6. The scoreboard was $1 million, and had state of the art video capability…even if it’s just a bunch of lightbulbs presenting a VERY black and white pixelated image. Incredible how much that technology has changed over the years.
  7. I was there. And, for those who don’t recall, the Bills were NOT terrible in 1973. There was incredible optimism and national focus with OJ going off for 250 yards in the season opener against the Patriots in Foxboro. A few weeks later, Monday Night Football came to Buffalo for the first time and it felt like we’d made the big time!
  8. Anybody know whether taking him on a cart tells us anything? I’ve often heard that you can walk on an Achilles tear.
  9. Does anyone know if Puna Ford is playing at all? I can’t say I’ve heard his name mentioned.
  10. Agreed! And I’m told he’s just barely seventeen years old. 😉
  11. Thank you! I was literally screaming at the television on the holding of #11! That was unbelievable. The drive would’ve ended there.
  12. Still showing really nice weather next weekend. 😎 But it’s London, so ya never know.
  13. Weather forecast shows 74 and bright sunshine tomorrow in WNY. Anybody know which team gets the sunny sideline? 😉
  14. I was there. And….I still keep the ticket stub in my wallet to this very day. 👍
  15. I’d simplify it. McD is known as a defensive coach. After his first few years learning the ropes as a head coach he now has his feet firmly underneath him and feels comfortable also taking over the responsibilities of the defense. (Somewhat the opposite of Andy Reid in KC) What McD needs now is an OFFENSIVE specialist that can match the skill set of his franchise quarterback. Is Dorsey the guy? I’m not sure whether anybody knows yet, but I’m leaning towards…not. We’re all going to see.
  16. You’ll notice that I wasn’t talking about him specifically. I was/am referring to OTHER, younger players (like rookies) who suddenly come into a ton of money and are then dropped into the heart of Las Vegas where significant temptations are right up in their face and lurking around every corner. It’s a recipe for disaster.
  17. It’s interesting that the OP mentions Las Vegas. I’ve often wondered about that with many of these young players. I don’t think Vegas is a very good place for ANY impressionable young man with a pocket full of cash to spend.
  18. The maritime museum is pretty cool over there.
  19. I like to have discussions too. But if you’re going to start one it’s WAY EASIER if we understand what discussion you’d like to have. So….now it appears you believe that the Bills should run the ball more earlier in the game? Last week they were up 37-0 late in the fourth quarter. Do you contend it would’ve been a wider spread if we had just run more? I’m not sure I’m following.
  20. I have no idea what they can get for a First Round Draft Pick but I sure hope (and actually expect) they’re exploring it. This isn’t all that different from a highly recruited college player who, for whatever reason, isn’t getting playing time. It’s very common these days for those kids to change schools. Your football career is very short. Having him just sit here is a total waste of everyone’s time.
  21. He’s not coming off an injury. I’m assuming he’s been participating in practice every day. No? I agree with Virgil here. If Elam goes the first four games without seeing the field then what are we doing here? Trade him for something of actual value to the roster.
  22. I’m completely lost on your premise here. First, it’s not unusual for RBs to pick up yards near the end of games when the defense is tired. It’s actually expected. Second, and maybe more importantly, the RB can only gain rushing yards when the offense gives him the ball. The Bills are a pass-first team. I don’t expect them to suddenly become a ground and pound team and neither does anyone else.
  23. Currently showing it to be in the low 70s all weekend. Crazy! I may have to rethink my wardrobe.
  24. I find it hard to believe anybody is going to give us anything of value for Gabe. Other teams see the same thing we all do. It’s not like it’s a small sample size of film to watch.
