  1. This is a stadium/crowd management issue as much as a design problem. So long as the aisle ushers are asked to control the times when fans are allowed to come up the stairs (for example NOT after the play has started) the ‘obstruction’ should be minimized. BTW… the ushers try to do that now at the existing stadium.
  2. Ya see? He did change the Texans prediction. A week late, but he came around.
  3. Is this really a thread topic? Playing sports and performing on commercials are two completely different skill sets. Some things translate but others just do not. Like most things in life; it’s simply not that complicated.
  4. The Ravens look like a team that has lost it, mentally. Coach needs to gather those guys.
  5. Where’s Saragusa when the Ravens need him? They could use a big fat guy in the middle.
  6. Hilarious! On the ground level replay of the 72 yard run you can clearly see the running back looking at the big end zone scoreboard to see who’s chasing him and which way he should cut.
  7. The NFL is really odd. The Ravens lineup appears to be absolutely loaded at every position, while so many other teams flounder trying to hit home runs, and wrestle with the salary cap.
  8. What in the world are the Lions trying to do here?
  9. The Lions really screwed that up! Terrible on offense, special teams, and defense.
  10. Troy Aikman….”Just run out eight yards and go where they’re not!”. Classic! In a few words, it perfectly describes the modern passing game.
  11. It is indeed inside the new stadium. The column is at the top of an exit aisle in the corner of the upper deck. There aren’t any seats behind the column.
  12. That Saints / Seahawks game is puzzling. They had virtually the same amount of yards gained both rushing and passing…and identical turnovers, yet somehow the Seahawks crushed them. Anybody see the game?
  13. I believe the columns some of you are referring to are at the top of the exit stair aisles, in the corners/end zones. I saw them on my tour although without seats installed the aisle locations aren’t as easy to understand as you might think. I don’t believe they obstruct your view of the field.
  14. Has Collinsworth never seen a pick before?
  15. Eagles just blocked two field goals in a row! Crazy!
  16. The Steelers have gained just 137 total yards through the middle of the fourth quarter. Geeez!
  17. The Refs are doing everything they can to help the Eagles. Ridiculous!
  18. I mentioned this a long time ago when the first photos inside the actual stadium came out. The upper deck doesn’t have traditional vomitories (tunnels) like the current stadium. So instead, the exit aisle goes all the way down to the front edge of the balcony and the exit stair runs down perpendicular to the balcony face from there. So yes, people on the landing and top few risers of those stairs are definitely going to be in the line of sight of spectators with seats in the first two or three rows and close the exit aisle. Obviously, if you stand up, that won’t be the case.
  19. and he escaped to his left, which is NOT what you want when facing a left handed quarterback
  20. I watched Tia’s presser last night and he’s a really class act. Respectful, humble, etc. I also watched his Coach’s presser and he’s a head case. Looks like he hadn’t slept. He has no answers. And threw his QB under the bus for not taking the check down on the final interception. Sheeesh!
