For sure, but I think people get too caught up on contract value. They have so much to spend and they only have 53 guys to spread it over. As it’s not my money I don’t care whether they spend it all or not. Neither of these guys, regardless of salary, has contributed a darn thing all season. Not sure what the point was of investing in either of them.

The point is that it shows the desperate price point when it comes to things like luxury suites, etc.

Both have been nothing more than afterthoughts. They could’ve used the money on better snacks in the team commissary. 😉

A bit off topic but still related when considered in relation to all this talk of luxury suites. My google feed today featured two articles on football coaching/management home prices. The recently fired Defensive Coordinator for the USC Trojans is selling his home in suburban Los Angeles for $4.5 million. That article also says the Trojans Head Coach, who fired him, lives in the next door neighborhood in a home valued at $17.5 million. Whereas Brandon Beane, Bills General Manager just sold his family home in suburban Buffalo for $1.5 million.

Him and Sherfield are neck and neck for that award.

You guys follow these personnel moves much closer than I do….where is Leonard Fournette? Still studying his binder?

Every team reserves enough money to sign their draft picks. If Beane hasn’t done that he’s beyond incompetent.

Your cap room has little to nothing to do with your draft selections. Free agency for sure, but not the draft.

In a phrase….lets hope so! I admire your optimism. It’s just odd that this is the same staff that ‘recruited’ him and the same defensive scheme they had when they did so. I personally find it hard to believe they drafted a guy in the First Round that they considered to be a ‘project’.
