Isn’t that the very definition of a tab?

I’ve said it before, I’m no cap expert but the Bills seem to have gotten into quite a few of these contractual problems lately with under performing veteran players whose deals make them virtually impossible to trade. Is that true throughout the league? I know you can’t predict injuries but since we can’t, doesn’t it seem like the Front Office should know that too?

That’s impossible! During the Jaguars game Chris Collingsworth declared us to have the best OL in the league. We don’t?

So based on that we should all check the Seahawks board on Tuesday morning to see if there’s a thread entitled “Curtis Samuel could fix this offense!” 😁

The problem with the Von contract is that it was signed to cover up the many recent Mc Beane DE drafting blunders and just ended up compounding the problem.

Right? Somehow the Chiefs immediately pivot to a three tight end offense and just keep right on going. Ho Hum, just another minor challenge.

Hope you’re safe. We don’t get the rain in Southern California but we get the Santa Ana winds in the fall and spring. They can easily be 70mph and when you’re in that for many hours it becomes hard to believe that winds can blow that hard. You think to yourself “is this even possible”?

And the Chiefs played and won this week without their top RB and WR….who are both possibly out for the season!

Have the Bills been successful the last few years? Absolutely! So what’s the reason they haven’t gotten over the hump? Simple. First, Beane continues to screw up the roster and salary cap. Second, McD continues to screw up in late game crunch time. Unfortunately I don’t see anything changing with either of those fatal flaws in the near future. Go Bills

I’d describe it more like trying to coast by in 2024. It was bound to happen some time along the way.

Not sure what all the chatter is about. I tend to agree with the basic premise. The Bills still play the Chiefs, Lions, 49ers and Seahawks…..and pretty much nobody else. If they beat the teams they should beat and steal one of the four listed above they’ll have a really good record (much better than I predicted) before crapping out in the playoffs, again.

Bobby, there’s a huge difference between saying you’re accountable and actually doing something about it. You must’ve learned that along the way. Politicians regularly say “I’m accountable” or the classic “I take full responsibility”. It means absolutely nothing but is an easy way to get the press off your back.

Are you trying to say that Groot, Epinesa, and a hobbled, now suspended Von aren’t elite pass rushers? (sarcasm)

Couldn’t they just change the ‘mascot’ and uniforms? It’d would be cheaper and create just as much internet chatter.

I had very low expectations going into this year and they remain low now. What I cannot figure out is how the Offense can look like an efficient machine against Jacksonville two weeks ago in a first half that had them scoring at will, and then be utterly inept the next 10 quarters. But for one play in which Coleman breaks a tackle and tip toes down the sideline it would be even worse!

I’m guessing you’re right, on the left side, but the three receivers on the right side do essentially nothing in that play design. There’s no varied depth to their routes, no combination, and no staggering of when they’re intended to come open. In the Chiefs offense there would be an underneath receiver breaking open late over the middle so that if the QB had to scramble out to his right he’d at least have a check down option.

Can someone explain to me how that particular play makes it into an NFL playbook? Look at it over and over again. What are those WR routes intended to do? Horrible play design. Looks like something you’d do in the backyard. ‘Everyone go out and turn around!’ Come on Joe Brady, you’ve gotta be kidding me!
