  1. It’s no different than picking your seats based on the sun angle. Unlike baseball, not all football stadiums face the same direction. (Most people don’t know that virtually all baseball fields face northeast.)
  2. If you want my honest opinion the entire wind confusion thing sounds like utter nonsense. I guess it could be that the exterior skin could be used to break up wind a little bit, but that surface would neither increase or decrease snow.
  3. Yes it is….but the OPPOSITE side is getting the exact same percentage blocked by the roof.
  4. I’m not being hostile. I’m trying to explain that just like a rain gauge collects rain the snow is going to fall on the roof, the seats, and the field in the exact proportions and percentages that each of those surfaces face the sky. None will be more and none will be less. So if the roof covers NONE of the stadium then everything will get snowed on. If the roof covers ALL of the stadium, then all of the stadium will be dry. And…if the roof covers FIFTY percent of the surface then fifty percent on the snow will be inside the ‘donut’. Make sense?
  5. It’s the same thing you see in basketball. The coach wants to see how the offense is lined up prior to inbounding the ball. There’s no telling if it works to your benefit.
  6. Answer: The refs are terrible. Period
  7. Ugh! A roof neither CREATES nor DISAPPEARS snow or rain. There will be less of either inside the stadium by exact percentage that the roof covers when looking straight down on the bowl from an airplane.
  8. This same thing happened to the Bills a year or two ago. I agree with you! Just because the ball touches the shoelace of a guy who is touching out of bounds it should NOT make ball be ruled out of bounds.
  9. If the wind blows the snow, or rain, into the downwind part of the bowl that means the upwind side will be shielded. You only get snowdrifts on one side of your house.
  10. The cross sections somebody shared a few months back weren’t anywhere close to 70%. Maybe closer to 40 or 50% tops.
  11. What this entire dialogue demonstrates is that the NFL has a SERIOUS personnel issue. They’re running a league where players are dropping like flies and yet they force the Teams to jump through ridiculous ancient rules to hamstring their rosters.
  12. It may have already been said but looking at the stat sheet, Sherfield wasn’t targeted even once yesterday. Same thing as what we’ve seen for Gabe occasionally. So, is the receiver or is it the offensive play design?
  13. FYI: Parking at SoFi stadium is around $80 on any given week. (Ridiculous)
  14. Let me see if I understand. According to you the State of New York doesn’t care about the University of Buffalo, which has to be one of the largest employers in the entire region? And one whose assets and property holdings literally dwarf those of the Buffalo Bills. Interesting.
  15. I’m not the least bit frustrated. Just one question though…..What’s lake effect snow? 😁
  16. That’s certainly a lot of words. Not sure what most of them have to do with this conversation but there are a lot of them.
  17. The opposite. The State should’ve dictated that the stadium be on the campus for all of the reasons that I outlined earlier.
