    I’m right there with you…just a couple years younger. Like you, I said I’m not watching next weekend…but deep down I know that I will.

    Being an ‘old timer’ this reminds me of the Super Bowl era. Our offense was clicking on all cylinders but our defense was just too small and didn’t hit anybody! At that time we had a safety that wore special padding on his helmet. The difference now is that we keep losing to the best team BEFORE we get to the Super Bowl.

    This team needs very little on offense other than O Line depth (but every team needs depth there). Very little…other than a new OC of course. The defense on the other hand has quite few holes to patch…including a new DC of course.

    I’m not sure if this is true but I heard on the radio that Mahomes had 177 yards passing from the two minute warning until the end of the game? If true, the Bills defense/coaching staff really screwed that thing up…big time!!

    We agree there. I’m a huge Spencer Brown fan. That guy loves to hit people. The fact that his discovery on a rookie deal allowed Williams to slide inside while already under a new RT contract is truly playing with house money.

    I couldn’t agree more. Once Williams slid inside and Bates was inserted at LG it was entirely different. I know a roster is constantly moving but boy if like to see them leave those five guys alone going into next year. Add some middle round draft picks and a couple of free agents but leave the starting five alone.

    Changes are coming on defense due to age. Hughes and Addison will both be gone. Now…the real sign will be if McBeane close the door on the “freak athlete” experiment and cut Edmunds loose. Then, I’ll know they’re serious!

    Question Why not purposely hold their receivers? The worse that happens is a five yard penalty but the play clock runs. Do that twice and it’s Hail Mary time….game over
