Given the recent news out of Florida….shouldn’t the National Archives issue a warrant to seize the video footage? I mean, we need it for the historical record….right? Where’s the FBI goon squad?

Augie…..don’t look now but you might just be….me! Similar story growing up. Where’d you go to high school? I find it interesting that now that they decided to keep the stadium way out in the outskirts, they’re looking to develop around it? If they wanted to do that they should’ve put it downtown. Now don’t get me wrong, it didn’t matter to me where they put it, but once it’s out in the suburbs the ship sailed. Just make it the very best game/event day experience and leave it at that.

Skimmed through it quick and didn’t see him mentioned……Dennis Shaw. NFL Rookie of the Year at QB, and then not so much. While I loved reading all the other names, none of them were Rookie of the Year.

I’m not sure on that one (you may be correct). What I find most troubling is that the very mention of diplomacy gets no air time from either side. Which is a real shame…for sure.

I’m not sure that I do or don’t Frank. What I know is that the Court should not be making legislation. The legislative branch however should. I’ve been saying this ever since the decision came out. We should all allow the Process to work. Given time, I’ll put my faith in the legislative Process. It’s ugly for sure, but it tends to sort itself out.

I had to step away and get some actual work done and came back to read this back and forth about ‘mutually assured destruction’ (kidding). Hard to believe my left-leaning friends on here found a war that they support so strongly. I honestly hope there’s a better way. These conflicts seem rather archaic in the 21st Century.

So what's the answer Goose? There has to be a better way than all of this carnage and destruction....no?

Thanks for sharing your list. If I had to argue, I'd say those things are what makes a good running back, a good running back. I don't think the other poster was implying that you'd take a player's fat brother because he's related. I think the pedigree attribute speaks to the 'off the field' understanding of work ethic, professionalism, expectations, etc.....which are all harder to measure, but still count for something as they young men transition from college into the pros.

Thanks....and I think everyone would agree with you there. But that doesn't mean that it isn't time for some serious diplomacy. What's the alternative? Just keep bombing and killing, bombing and killing? I sure hope not.

I’ll say it again: where are the world’s diplomats? These two sides have punched themselves silly for six months. Enough already! It’s way past time for the adults to step in and break this up.

Somewhat related, but many years ago I was sitting all alone at a Vegas blackjack table and I asked the dealer why we don’t put actual money down instead of the whole rigamarole of exchanging cash for plastic chips. He said because if you had to put actual money on the table you wouldn’t sit here for more than two minutes. I’ll never forget that. 😉
