I had to look it up….Palmer caught 5 passes in Week One, and since then the most he’s had is TWO. Now come on!

As I mentioned in the multi page Shaheed thread….its an absolute shame/travesty that they just spent millions to bring in Palmer only to have him become a virtual afterthought. Isn’t he supposed to be Josh’s WR2?

I disagree. Palmer has been pretty much ignored to date. Much like the PED twins were ignored until Hoecht got in the game and showed why the Bills acquired him this offseason. I’d put Palmer in the same group. He was the third ‘big’ offseason acquisition and so far we’ve yet to see much from him. So, would it be nice to spend draft picks on a shiny new toy? I guess so? But I’d prefer they look inward to the shiny new toy they’ve hardly taken out of the gift box.

Does that apply if you work at a church, or in congress? They must talk a LOT of football at work!

Yikes! After reading through page after page on Shaheed I feel I know him better than some of my own family members. What’s lost in all of this is any discussion about the Bills own missing person: Joshua Palmer. He was acquired this offseason (and not for free) to be our WR2 and in just seven games he’s already a complete afterthought.

It’s very accurate. I noticed numerous times during the game where the Bills D Line hemmed in Mahomes and refused to dive after him. They just kept him in front of them for a change and he had no place to go. His scrambling abilities have killed us so many times in the past. Very well done.

I’m not giving up hope he does something, anything, this year. The fans all forget…and for good reason….that he was our big WR upgrade this offseason. Let’s all hope it kicks in for him in the second half of the season. Fingers crossed

Bishop had a good game for sure but I believe there’s more than that happening on the back end. I have to think it has a lot to do with Rapp sitting down, and Mad Max replacing Tre…and maybe, just maybe even Poyer’s presence as well. Somehow, quietly, without making any major trade moves I have a feeling our secondary just got a lot better.

I agree with Augie. Pass rushing is a game of leverage. Just because the rusher goes down does NOT mean he was held. It usually means that he simply lost leverage on his bend/lean. The NFL really needs to clean that up!

That’s nothing! During one of the baseball playoff games the announcers told the story of a player who got traded in the middle of a doubleheader…to the team they were playing that day! So all he had to do was walk across the infield to the other dugout for the second game, just a few minutes later. Now that’s just crazy!
