  1. That’s true, but looking back over the course of the season are you willing to swap out key players on offense on the hope that at crunch time of a playoff game they’ll miraculously be able to make a play? I’m not. I’d much prefer shoring up the defense so we don’t need to put up 30 plus each week (including in the playoffs) just to be sure we have a chance. Fix the damn defense!
  2. I’m not sure what people want here. The purpose of the offense is to score points! The Bills offense scored more than any other team in the league. I couldn’t care less that they don’t have a shiny ‘superstar’ WR. As someone else’s thread so aptly put it ….It’s the Defense, stupid.
  3. I wasn’t particularly troubled by it myself but that doesn’t mean there aren’t better ways to bring attention to the topic.
  4. We agree there, but I still maintain that the Bills are way off of the old Best Player Available theme. They appear to be drafting players with certain traits (ie: character, size, athleticism, league-wide trends). While that can work in the long run it also has a good chance of failing. As an example, league-wide trends change much faster than a five year rookie contract.
  5. The issue with the Ad was not the topic....but choice of messaging. I'm not sure that objectifying breasts (which is what the Ad clearly was doing) is the appropriate delivery method.
  6. Does it seem to anyone else that the Bills are always reacting to what they perceive to be the next trend? We went and got Kincaid because we thought that TEs would be all the rage after the Patriots and Chiefs had success there. We went small on the D Line because we thought containing and corralling the next round of mobile QBs would be the 'thing'. We got Edmunds because an athletic MLB was going to be the answer to BOTH of the above listed trends. Now, I have no idea what the next thing is going to be, but I really wish the Bills would set the trend instead of always seeming to be reacting to it.
  7. Gunner, it’s all a bit of semantics. I look at a guy like Epenesa. He was a beast at Iowa playing against elite offensive line Big Ten opponents. After drafting him the Bills immediately changed his body type and tried to make him into something he isn’t. Likewise with Oliver….they went for a smaller DT hoping he’d become the next Aaron Donald. In both cases they’ve force fed their ‘smaller dude’ scheme onto the players they’ve selected. Then add in the complete swing and miss with Elam and Basham and you’ve got a total mess on your hands. It’s been pretty bad!
  8. The obvious simple answer is to draft really well. The Bills have somewhat painted themselves into a corner with less than stellar selections and are between a rock and hard place to now have to consider extensions for some rather average to slightly above average talent. So someone in the that Scouting Department had to be made aware that the franchise is depending on them to do an exceptional job this offseason.
  9. The Bills have obviously been very good over the past five plus seasons….but they seem exceptionally stubborn with their defensive scheme. On offense they have Josh Allen, who can paper over most deficiencies. On defense however they seem fixated on doing it ‘their way’. It simply hasn’t worked. Is it the players? I honestly don’t think so. It’s the scheme that they’re drafting players to fit into.
  10. It’s virtually impossible for a receiver to get any more ‘separated’ than Kincaid was on that fateful fourth down. He was WIDE OPEN.
  11. Hey! Some of our government institutions are pretty darn entertaining these days! 😂
  12. We’re drafting Chris Paul and ‘Kobe’ Bryant? Sweet! All we need now is a shooting Forward and a rim enforcer at Center. 😁
  13. There were a few of those drought years where it was a bit questionable. 😉 Being only ‘seventeen’ you mercifully missed the first decade and a half of the twenty first century.
  14. Like most things it comes down to cause and effect. One of the main reasons the ball comes out quickly is because the Bills secondary is gifting the opponent a quick hitter on virtually every down. So, yes, we definitely need to tighten it up, and then the pass rush will look decidedly much improved.
  15. I can honestly that I've NEVER tuned into the Super Bowl for the halftime show. Not once.
  16. My lack of excitement has nothing to do with the Bills not being there this year. It’s odd because this year’s Super Bowl features the top seeds in both conferences with star players galore and yet somehow it just feels really really dull. Reminds me of the year the Ravens played the Giants….another snore fest.
  17. Home game in Gaza by 20230. 😁
  18. Sarcasm is a difficult concept for many. 😉
  19. Pass Rush Specialist Coach? Is that a real thing?
  20. Or Kincaid, a first round draft pick, could simply catch the football at the very moment that everything is on the line. Just saying!
  21. Nicely prepared, and an impressive amount of work. When everyone’s Mocks come out every year I immediately look to see which players are taken right AFTER the Bills. Chances are they’ll become a future Hall of Famer. 😉
  22. GA….you honestly look back over the course of the 2024 season and think of Coleman as a ‘developing elite player’? Honestly? Once again, he might become something one day but I sure didn’t see the sort of an impact that many other WRs playing with Josh Allen wouldn’t have also had.
  23. These labels are always a bit challenging but I’ve seen nothing that would put Coleman into the ‘developing players’ category. Not to say he can’t be in another year but he certainly isn’t yet.
  24. So you’re saying our MVP, future first ballot HOF quarterback can’t find an open receiver? So, we need another one?
  25. How many points do the Bills have to score before people on here believe they’d be safe enough to overcome McDs classically porous defense. Just give me a number? 50 points per game? 100?
