The Bills strength is because of the AFC East….so don’t read too much into it. You’ll notice that Miami, the Jets and Pats are also above the line for the same reason.

Virgil… I imagine that you’ll regret if you’re not under the roof. ( I always say the same out here in Southern California if the shadow is just quite not reaching our row and we’re cooking in full sun.)So if it was me I’d definitely go for the first few rows of the upper deck. The new stadium is smaller and steeper so the sight lines should be perfect. my two cents

He probably wanted to drive by the new stadium to check out the amount of roof coverage before making a longer commitment.

On a related note have you ever seen the graphic where they show the position of a baseball to home plate depending on the speed of a pitch? It’s pretty amazing how much different a fast ball is from a curve. A curve is something like six feet out in front of the plate when the fast ball is already crossing the plate.

Thanks! Also true…and my point is it doesn’t even matter if he gets ‘open’. Thinking that the safety just sits on the underneath stuff because the WR isn’t quite so fast is plain foolish. A good OC designs the route tree to clear out for the underneath crossing routes no matter how fast the outside WR is.

Totally random? Okay…some similarly old fan can correct me but I think it was a preseason game when James Harris was at QB and he took a quarterback sneak something like 98 yards for a touchdown. I believe it still may be the longest play in Bills history…but being a preseason game it doesn’t register.

That’s true but it doesn’t mean that the safety allows a slightly slower WR to just run right by him. We’re talking fractions of a second on 40 yard times here. It’s as much about route construction and play design as it is about pure speed.

That’s an amazing amount of progress in a single calendar year. With the superstructure completed you’ll see what looks like a slow down in the coming months as much of the work will be happening on the interior of the concourse levels.

People often criticize the GM (including me) but when you see this list you realize he has a TON on his plate every year. All these contractual plates need to be kept spinning while at the same convincing the players, and their agents, that they’re each ‘critical’ to the current and long term success of the franchise. I’m guessing it’s exhausting.

I’ve not said a single negative word about the signing. I honestly don’t care. I just want a Bills player (I’ll settle for a third string TE at this point) to make THE PLAY that’s needed to get them to and over that final ever elusive hurdle. Preferably….“Just once before I die.” 😉

Shaw, the point is that there isn’t a player that’ll put them in a position any better than the one they were in last season. The only thing left for the Buffalo Bills to do is to have someone make ‘a play’ at the point of do or die. You either make the play or you go home. The other night I was watching one of the NBA teams (can’t remember which one) lose a game because a player inexplicably let a ball go right through his hands and legs out of bounds when all he had to do was grab it and hold on. The opponent got the ball out of bounds and proceeded to go the length of the floor for the winning layup as time expired. All I could think to myself was geeeez what a Billsy way to screw up a sure victory.

I find this place to be interesting. Do I like this signing? Sure! Why not? Would it have made a difference in the Bills making it to the Super Bowl last year? Nope! Will it this year? Probably not, unless Moore catches the damn ball when the AFC Championship Game is on the line. Period.

I agree. None of the WR/TE group are standouts on their own but they’re ALL of decent ability. I’m guessing everyone will eat again in 2025….which can be very difficult on the opposing defense.

He was just at the Nuggets Clippers game last night. They showed him in the stands scarfing down a large bag of pop corn.

I was at the finale of the Rockpile. It was pretty damn cold and we tied Detroit. A more fitting end could not have been scripted. 😂

I guess it’s a novelty but does the rest of the country really care about the last game at Rich Stadium? It’s not Fenway Park for heaven’s sake.
