  1. My phone shows 40 degrees but no precipitation. And before you ask….it’ll be 72 and sunny in Palm Springs.😎
  2. You’ve got to be able to close. As they say, it’s hard to win in the NFL. The Bills have to get over this close-game hump if they want to reach their ultimate goal. There’s no two ways around it.
  3. Again we agree. My problem was the plays in between the holding penalty and the long bomb. It was still 1st down after the holding penalty. Pick up the yards and move the chains. Really unfortunate ending.
  4. I’m not sure that’s what Rodgers meant when he asked for more weapons? 😉
  5. All true, but I didn’t like the strategy. Just pick up a couple of quick first downs, move the chains and kick the field goal. Assuming you’re in field goal range and there’s still time, take a single shot for the win. While it’s of course not ALL on Josh, he’s the one getting the big bucks to win these games in the clutch. Watching Brady carve up the Rams bit by bit, to get his team across the finish line on the final drive Sunday was frustrating as a Bills fan, but is the standard of what’s expected.
  6. You get the ball to your MVP QB with two minutes to play and down by only three points there’s a clear expectation that he’ll get you into position for at least a look at a game tying field goal. It didn’t happen.
  7. I look at it differently. The Bills need to win close games down the stretch. They failed against both the Dolphins and Jets. Someone has to step up and make a play.
  8. Maybe we shouldn’t be wearing the white pants then. 😉
  9. I’m guessing you’re right, but taking our best receiver off the field seems like a ridiculous strategy…considering the quality level (or lack thereof) of those replacing him.
  10. Diggs has been great… for sure. And not to flame on him but they seem to be taking him out a lot. I don’t recall him going to the sideline as much in previous years. Every time he makes a big catch, the next shot is of him with his helmet off watching the upcoming play from the sideline. Has that been his routine in previous seasons?
  11. Lots and lots of doom and gloom on here and rightly so but in the end this all comes down to making a few key plays in the clutch late in the fourth quarter or on a final drive when the game is on the line. We’re 6-2 and in BOTH games we had the ball and the opportunity to win the game and failed. It’s a real problem. The Bills got the ball with two minutes remaining on Sunday, and while they had no timeouts they ended up not needing them because they couldn’t pick up a single first down. Not good! You’re not going to beat everyone by two touchdowns. You have to learn how to win close games like against the Jets and Dolphins. This week’s opponent, the Vikings, are 7-1 partly because they’re getting it done in the clutch. It’s about winning!
  12. When it does end, can we get rid of all the damn candidate signs littering my entire neighborhood? Is this all really necessary?
  13. Nobody “f’s” with a Biden! Or puts baby in a corner….so I’ve heard.
  14. I’d make a snarky comment about the price but I’m still ‘digesting’ your shopping list. 😉
  15. Everyone knows what the Bills defense is. They're built to sit back and force you to make a mistake. Plain and simple! However....that defense was created first and foremost to stop Mahomes (and other top tier QBs) in the playoffs. With that said, I cannot understand why we're not blitzing more against younger, less capable QBs. The roster should be capable of switching it up depending on who the opponent is. Looking ahead to Sunday, I'm curious what anyone thinks would be the best approach against a check-down artist like Kirk Cousins.
  16. What do the Bills have to lose? When a first round pick doesn't pan out, I generally think it's because he needs a change in scenery and coaching.
  17. OK...THIS has to be the most interesting post I've seen on here all day. I have no idea what it means, but it's really interesting.
  18. In the last two games, it isn't "they" who have been far too careless, it is Allen who's been far too careless. Almost stunningly careless, I might add.
  19. They are not insane. They are trying to fundamentally transform the country. To do that you have to do just what the phrase says…..change the fundamentals.
  20. It’s interesting but I’ve never cared when somebody was drafted. It’s sort of like being in a company and not carrying where your degree is from. You’re either going to be a stand out performer on the job or flounder around in the staff workroom. Each year that passes your draft order becomes less and less important. If Ed was going to become a stand out, he already would have. It doesn’t make him a bad person. It’s just reality.
  21. Here’s the deal. The current version of the Bills needs to prove they can win close games down the stretch if they’re going to get the entire fanbase on board. As things currently stand a great number of fans are just praying they’re up by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter so that the game’s out of reach. I wish that wasn’t the case…but sadly it is.
  22. I guess we’re going to find out in a day or so. I’m guessing not!
  23. What a mess. Whether true or not all of this is a disaster waiting to happen in an evenly divided country. Let’s go back to in person, same day voting. Keep it simple people!
  24. As someone in the business, the real problem with these type of carve outs hiring is that they generally target companies that are OWNED by minorities or women. This says nothing then about the actual workers which is where 90% of the contract goes. When WBE (women-owned business enterprise) legislation first came out a number of guys just ‘gave’ the company to their wives. It changed nothing for anyone.
  25. Wait…what? You mean the Bills coaches aren’t on here reading all of our suggestions? No wonder we suck. 😉
