  1. I’ll say it again. Everyone was upset when the last Congress blindly passed a nearly TWO TRILLION spending bill of my tax dollars and now their upset if the new Congress takes a few days to deliberate on who’ll set the agenda for the coming year. Maybe it’s just me…but I hope they discuss this for months. It costs me nothing!
  2. I tend to agree. So you do the big thing, and thank the league for their patience in this matter and take the loss. You then use it as a rallying cry (if your team is even able to) for the playoffs.
  3. Then you have to request to play the game. Done.
  4. I’m still in the camp of the Bills either requesting to play the game Week 19 or forfeiting it.
  5. Buffalo is definitely not in the Midwest. I’ve lived in both places and I’m not anti either one.
  6. We’ve been over this. There isn’t a mass upheaval to anyone. None of the playoff games have been scheduled. In fact, neither conference even has a locked in #1 seed yet.
  7. This is not happening. There are 31 other teams with their own interests.
  8. How does this incident have anything to do with some larger player safety discussion? What protocols were missed or overlooked?
  9. You are aware that the payments on the debt get in the way of all the programs you want to fund....right?
  10. I've been saying this all day long. I couldn't care less what other teams are doing. I want my Buffalo Bills to win the Super Bowl. No asterisk, and no special privileges. The easiest way that's going to happen is for the playoffs to go through Orchard Park. Maybe even more so now with the emotion of the home crowd behind them. And the only way it's going to go through Orchard Park is if they beat both the NE and Cincinnati. (KC is not losing to the Raiders.) Let's win this thing!
  11. How is that? If the Bills beat the Bengals in Week 19, then the Chiefs don't get a first round bye and have to come to Buffalo for the Championship Game.
  12. This isn't going to be popular post but you have to wonder what the Patriots are thinking. If the Bills don't want to play this weekend, then the Pats essentially back-into the last playoff spot....right? If so, you'd think New England management would want to know that as soon as possible. Otherwise they have a road game to get ready for.
  13. Exactly.....and that's the same thing that happens when a piece of legislation dies.
  14. Yikes....that is interesting. I'm actually glad to see the numbers bear out what most of us fans have been thinking all along.
  15. You and I agree here. If the Bills essentially want to pack it in, for right now at least, they can forfeit the New England game....today.
  16. Agreed. Since it looks like the 2 and 3 seed could face each other this year (although you never know) it comes down to how much the Bills want home field advantage for that one. ,
  17. Geez people! Here's how it works. McCarthy sits down with the Republican hold-outs and gives them what they want...or some significant assurance/compromise. That's how legislation is made. That's how this will be resolved.
  18. I haven't read through four pages of responses (nor will I), but nobody evens knows what happened to this guy yet, and people are calling for changes to the equipment? Ya gotta love the internet!
  19. Here's where you and I differ. Nobody owes the Bills anything. If they choose not to play, then they live with the consequences of that decision...and that's OK. It is there choice. Use it as motivation, or not.
  20. Then just forfeit ....now. I have no idea what you want here?
  21. Does it? If the Bengals and Bills end up with the same 12-4 record, do the Bengals get the #2 seed? If so, you may be onto something.
  22. The Bears are trying to pull a Rob Johnson...hoping that some other Team will take him off their hands after he lights it up on Sunday. (Just saying)
  23. Nobody is saying they "have to" play the game. My point is that the Bills should "want to" play the game. If they don't want to play the game, that is in essence a forfeit and they could do that today.
