See my post right above yours. I don’t think it’s about hoping the pass rush gets there. I think the Bills are simply betting on the inherent inaccuracy of the opponent’s QBs….and to this point, they’ve been right.

The Bills pass defense is indeed frustrating to watch but I’ve come to learn that it’s based on the bet that the other team’s QB isn’t going to be perfect the entire drive, and definitely not the entire game. We saw that yesterday in real time. Mac was hitting everything early on but as the game wore on the passes got less and less accurate and the final two INTs were perfect examples of that. What’ll be interesting to watch for is how well that strategy holds up against Joe Burrow.

I cannot see that happening this year. The power differential between the top tier teams and those that just barely got in is really significant this season. Maybe more so than any year in recent memory.

I cannot recall a year where so many teams are entering the playoffs on such hot streaks. The Bills, KC, Bengals, 49ers and Jags all have not lost since November. Most years it seems that teams sit and rest their starters in the final game but there was so much separation between the haves and have nots this season that the playoff contenders couldn’t afford to do that.

Yes, but they played seventeen games so their per game differential (which is all that matters with that stat) is actually less.

They finish the season with league leading +169 point differential…or essentially 10 points per game. Somehow it sure hasn’t seemed like it.

What are they saying in WNY? It seemed to me that Josh has a cold. Seemed like it during the midweek press conference and it looked like it today. Lots of sniffling and using smelling salts.

I obviously disagree on many of your points but I’ll bet if we had the opportunity you’d find were way more aligned than you think. I give a tremendous amount to charity and would happily give more if the tax structure was different. If deductions are eliminated then the base tax rates would be reduced (but everyone would pay something) and people would have significantly more money to donate to the causes that they personally support…not the causes the government has deemed as somehow better than others, after they’ve siphoned off a fortune to no name government cubicle workers.

Sure…whatever Keep pushing for your all encompassing utopian safety net. It’s worked really well so far.

I have literally no idea where you’re going with any of this anymore. This conversation has gone off the rails.

The weakest? I like to judge a society on how much opportunity is provided and I’d suggest that we wouldn’t see millions of people willing to break our laws just to get into America year after year if they didn’t believe we indeed still provide that opportunity.

I think Nashville or Vegas. Both would be destination locations for the thousands of traveling fans. I’ve never been big on the Atlanta stadium. It always looks really really dark inside on television.

They’re also the same people who applauded the week long pressure/bribery of a certain West Virginia senator to pass a recent spending boondoggle.

A better warfare analogy would be that the Republicans are still lining up in the an open field with neat rows all shooting their muskets at the count of three while the Democrats hide and fire from inside the forest using the cover of trees, only to run away to regroup once their positions are discovered.

I can only think of one restaurant that has still been asking to see them. It’s really odd, since most people’s vaccines are now many many months old.
