  1. At $3.3m that means Morris earned $91,666 per receiving yard last season. Nice!
  2. I look at it differently. There isn’t a single domed stadium in the northeast. Glass half empty or half full?
  3. A couple of things I notice from looking at the latest series of drone photos (which are really amazing): 1. The precast subcontractor is behind schedule and is holding up the steel subcontractor, who is kicking butt. 2. Unlike the current stadium, there are no vomitories (tunnels) accessing the sideline upper deck. You'll go up or down stairs at the leading edge of the balcony. Again, the some really great photos!
  4. The real question is coming from Green Bay can he play in cold weather? You'all know that the new stadium isn't a dome.....right? 😉
  5. Is Groot worth more than Shakir? I realize they pay different positions on a different pay scale, but when you consider it from a strict 'value' standpoint I can't see justifying any more than Shakir just go....and probably less.
  6. Yep....so all the more reason why paying Shakir something close to 4 or 5% of the roster seems like a REALLY good deal.
  7. Thanks. That’s an interesting way to look at it…and I honestly wish more people did. If you have essentially 50 players then each one represents 2% of the roster. So you’ve gotta think that starters are at 3% and subs are at 1%. Then figure in that you’ve got a few exceptional starters at 4% and a few special teamers and rookies at something lower than 1%. It’s quite a balancing act for sure. While we all take the occasional jab at Beane, it’s a really tricky job for sure.
  8. You're aware that the games aren't on here early because of the temperature.....right? 😉 And for reference, it's going to be 75 and sunny here today with virtually no humidity.
  9. Here’s a hint: do NOT move to California! 😂
  10. Just imagine where they’d be if they hadn’t sat the starters for this year’s finale against the Patriots. 😂
  11. I’ve been faithfully watching this team for over FIFTY years and it turns out that winning or losing is essentially a coin flip! Sheeesh.
  12. Something was tweaked for sure. He had developed a wicked, and consistent SLICE in his kicks, but he clearly straightened it out. I have to hope this was something that the coaching staff worked on with him. So often on here we're quick to criticize the players and completely overlook the positional coaching staff. In baseball, golf, etc. coaches will work for hours analyzing the slightest change in swing and stroke. In football, we tend to assume the player is out there completely on his own. Why the long answer? Because I have to wonder if the same is true of our Defensive Line, especially our EDGE rushers.
  13. I could get interested in Steelers v Bills in Dublin.
  14. I agree. The fact that Cooper didn’t do all that much for us in 2024 actually works in the Bills favor. I assume it lowered his free agency value to other teams, and he’s reported as liking it in Buffalo. I’d go around again with him and Hollins in 2025 and spend the majority of the draft on the defensive side.
  15. I had no idea that Cooper Kupp’s four years OLDER than DK Metcalf. I’d have actually bet it was the other way around. Go figure!
  16. I know it doesn’t work exactly like this but picking at 30 one has to assume that the Bills will select from the players with an overall rating of something like 27 through 33. Who are those six players and do we want any of them? (This assumes three or four teams ahead of us will ‘reach’ for a player of positional need.)
  17. What I see from that Draft Class is a bunch of guys who the coaching staff refused to put on the field and/or utilize. It seems like the Front Office and the Coaching Office are in two different buildings. Now maybe that’s because the established roster is good enough so as to not need to throw rookies into the fire but I’m guessing the post-season grades would be much better if this year’s class had been drafted by other, more needy, teams.
  18. Having watched a lot of Illinois, Pat Bryant is a stud. He’d be ranked much higher if he’d have had a better QB.
  19. Wow! Thanks the thorough breakdown. I have to believe this is much like Big Board in Beane’s office. I’m no draft or cap expert but seeing this over view I’m even more inclined to resign the few players you suggest, and then build everything else through the draft. The Bills have a core roster under contract and REALLY need to get it right with the draft picks they’ve accumulated.
  20. The Chiefs played TWENTY games this season. They scored 30 or more points in regulation a grand total of TWO of those games. Once was against the awful Carolina Panthers, in which they put up exactly 30…..and the other was in the Championship game….against guess who!
  21. It’s the Super Bowl! Everyone watches it. Not sure what the story is here.
  22. I’m not sure how this spun so far out of control but to my 35,000 foot view, the defense needs MAJOR retooling at every level….DL, LB and secondary. Of the three levels, linebacker can probably wait, but even there Milano keeps getting hurt. The Bills could invest every single draft pick on defense and still not get it done.
  23. It’s the Most Valuable PLAYER…..not the Most Valuable UNIT…or Assistant COACH. I have no problem with the selection. It doesn’t mean that Hurts was the sole reason they won.
  24. How much talent do we need? If our First Round Draft Pick TE didn’t let the pass go right through his arms the Bills would’ve been playing in the Super Bowl. And in case you think I’m being a homer, the week before, the Ravens all pro TE did the same thing and they have Lamar and freaking Derrick Henry! Players need to make plays when everything is on the line. It ultimately comes down to that….every year.
