We’re definitely going to disagree there. While not sexy, this team desperately needs two young stud Guards to anchor the middle of the line for the remaining years of Allen’s contract. They’ll be cheap for the duration, and improve both the passing and running game way more than a rookie WR that at the very best will catch four passes per game (maybe one or two more than Gabe would’ve caught).

I don’t completely disagree but I’m more interested in using draft picks on positions that are in way worse shape, like the offensive line. Remember this thread is about Pick 27.

I disagree on Davis. He’s definitely had his moments. Many of them. His problem is consistency in hanging onto the ball when challenged at the point of the catch. The coaching staff can definitely work on that with him. As regards the other skill positions, Singletary has consistently been merely average at best, and Knox simply isn’t thrown to in this offense.

Wow! You missed the ENTIRE point of his report. The central theme was NOT that what happened was excusable, appropriate or should encouraged. His point was that your government is LYING to you. And….they did! To prove his point he shared specific examples of just that. He was NOT making an overarching finding about the protest. Wake up!

That’s a cute response. So is there such contradicting video footage? If there is, wouldn’t Nancy’s Select Committee have shown it? I assume the prosecution put on their best case…no?

Or maybe instead of going fishing for players to replace the NFL caliber players we already have, maybe, just maybe, we could coach up our current players to perform better on a consistent basis. (Just a thought.) I am not convinced that Gabe Davis has to be thrown in the dumpster. We have all seen him perform from time to time. His problem is not athleticism …it’s consistency!

Here’s my simple take: The Bills have an oddly constructed roster for such a highly respected team. On offense they rely almost solely on Allen both passing and running, and have gotten merely average production from any of their skill position draft picks (Singletary, Knox, Davis). On defense, it’s similar but there they rely on a soft scheme that dares the opponent to go the length of the field without making a mistake (which doesn’t work against better skilled playoff QBs), but again with the possible exception of Milano and Tre here they’ve gotten merely slightly above average production from many their skill position draft picks (Edmunds, Oliver, Epenesa).

Here’s what I don’t understand. I can see not liking the way TC presented the videos, but were they selectively edited? For example, are there other parts of the tapes in which the Shamon dude was acting violently while inside the Capitol? Did he attack police officers? Did he vandalize the building? And…are there other parts of the video that show Officer Sicknick stumbling around or in other sorts of physical duress? If we had a functioning Justice system (instead of a politically motivated police state) none of this would be an issue.

Time to move on from Ed, unfortunately. He’s severely underperformed from his draft status.

Thanks. I see these over arching labels thrown around a bit too much these days. I much prefer addressing things issue by issue. For example, on most, if not all, fiscal policies I’m extremely conservative (just as I am with my personal finances) whereas on most ‘social’ issues I’m very liberal…with the caveat that this is only in reference to adults; not children.

I’m not so sure I agree. It’s all in just how you measure it I guess. Sure, we haven’t seen a third World War, but instead we have these proxy wars being fought in second and third world countries all over the planet. Seems to me that the people in charge have just decided it’s better to hash things out in countries that no one has ever heard of or had plans to visit on summer vacation. 😉

I agreed with your take, but you left out the player development/coaching staff AFTER these guys are drafted.

World order? There’s an order? Since when exactly? There’s been a nonstop armed conflict going on somewhere in the world throughout my considerable lifetime. I’d love to see what disorder looks like. 😉
