I’ve never understood this take on Josh Allen. His strength is NOT the deep ball. In fact the deep ball just exposes his well documented weakness…which is accuracy. His strength is throwing the ball hard! To play to his strength he needs receivers who can hang on to his fast ball.

We’re all just going to have to wait and see, and you’re not gonna have to wait very long. The season starts in just a few months and we’ll all know what we got in Coleman. He won’t be riding the bench. (If he is, the pitchforks are coming out.) As for me, I’m going to trust that the Front Office did their homework.

I think @PromoTheRobot's point was that it's not gonna happen. The teams have relinquished as much control as they're going to.
Yes, not quite 4 months younger than former Bill Tremaine Edmunds.
I realize but nothing is forever in the NFL. We used to have six preseason games and only fourteen regular season games. My point is that Round 7 becomes a total grab bag of guys nobody’s ever heard of. We have a family friend who went undrafted last year but because he did he was able to walk on to the team of HIS choice that he knew needed help at his position. He made the 53 man roster. I’m not sure that would have happened if he’d been trapped on the team that might have picked him in Round 7 only to be cut a week before the season in the NFL’s latest final roster cut down blizzard.

The NFL Draft was 17 rounds until 1977 when it was reduced to 12 rounds. Then when the salary cap was introduced in 1994 it became 7 rounds.
I'm old enough to have experienced it, and a decade before that as well. My comment still stands. These 7th Round guys have little chance of making a roster. It'd be better for them to not be handcuffed to a specific team.

Josh must be working with his receivers because Ms Steinfeld was sitting at the table right next to us at breakfast this morning and Josh wasn’t with her. (She appeared to be with her Dad.)

Relax people!
Gabe Davis was close to worthless when it mattered, so Samuel replaces his production easily!
Diggs disappeared for the entire second half of the season, so they started down the road of dumping his high cost and poor attitude and drafted a WR with their Top Pick.
I have NO IDEA what people are thinking we could’ve done. -

Watched him play in college and immediately knew he’d be a Buffalo Bill…..he HAD TO be! 😁

I have no idea why people don’t understand where the Bills are right now. They swung for the fences a few years ago thinking that 13 seconds had them on the doorstep. The swing and missed and now have to pay for it by rebuilding with a much younger, cheaper roster. But somehow through that, and including this draft, have now replaced the starting WR, TE, RB on offense and the MLB, S on defense. And with all of that they’re still expected to compete for a championship. It’s going to take another year. 2024 will NOT be the year. It was NEVER going to be.

This is the time of the draft when I think they need to eliminate the last two rounds and let these players walk on wherever they believe they have the best shot.

Kid led the FBS in sacks last season!

What a bunch of whiners! This draft is ticking all the boxes. Offense and defense. And we’re not picking two DEs in a row for a change.

So MORE late picks? Hmmm…
Wouldn’t it be more accurate to say ANOTHER late pick?

Why not just move the Super Bowl kick off time to earlier in the day? Would that really be so difficult?

You don’t want your franchise Quarterback having a significant say in who he’s going to throw the ball to? Really?

That’s not my point. I am arguing that if they really liked any the WR they would have taken one at 28 or 32. The flip side would be that they liked so many equally that they felt they could trade down.
Im just guessing, but based on Beane’s comment that they will get call for pick 33, I think he is looking to trade down again- likely because they aren’t crazy about any of the remaining receivers.
We’re going to see. But I’m thinking that (a) Beane isn’t picking a WR so why not get an extra draft pick for free or (b) Beane had a good hunch who Carolina and KC wanted so why not get multiple extra draft picks and then still get the WR he wanted all along at 33.

I just think that his talent would have dictated he go round 1 if he didn’t have rumored concerns about effort/taking coaching.
As I’ve often said, people get WAY too hung up on which Round a player is taken in.

I honestly can't see them picking at 33. They could have drafted at 32 and got someone with a 5th year option. Now they don't have that by moving one pick. They are going to take calls all day and move back again IMO.
So you’re saying that we’re “aggressively “ looking to move back! Quick…..somebody start that thread. 😉

McConkey is the best receiver left, in my opinion. I think if they were going to take Mitchell, they would have done so already.
I understand that McConkey isn’t an X, but if it isn’t him it’s another position in my opinion.
Why would they have done so already? He’s still there now. The goal of the draft isn’t to take your guy as early as possible. The goal is to take him as LATE as possible.

What is wrong with you guys? These are EXCELLENT moves. We gained a pick and moved up a round with another and all we ‘gave up’ was moving back a few places when McBeane already KNOW the guy they wanted all along. This is exactly how you take advantage of other teams on Draft night.

Beane is a genius! Stockpile picks! This is what you do when you have a QB and need to get younger and cheaper. 👍👍

Why get the QB with a cannon arm a speed receiver to throw it to?
Because the kid with the cannon arm SUCKS at throwing the long ball.

I said it all along. Beane REALLY wanted a 3rd Round pick and he got one. Excellent move!

Are we going to ‘aggressively’ trade down now? 😂😂😂😂
What's the point of this team's philosophy?

We’re splitting hairs here. Of the two, his bigger strength is throwing the ball hard, not pinpointing his spot. That would be true if he was a baseball pitcher…and everyone in the league would know it.
