  1. That is correct. That is NOT how our system works. It is up to the accuser to PROVE that what they are claiming is true. Not the other way around.
  2. Then you need to be re-taught. (respectfully)
  3. You have got to be kidding me. Trump criticized our NATO allies for not "paying their fair share". I thought you liked that sort of rhetoric.
  4. To quote Tom Cruise from a Few Good Men: "It doesn't matter what you believe. It only matters what you can prove."
  5. So you're saying that a team without SB aspirations would've made a different choice? (kidding)
  6. I'll make it very simple: As a society, we've abandoned the basic principle of innocent until proven guilty. And that's on everyone. But it doesn't have to remain that way.
  7. Seems like a bit of a name recognition beauty contest to me. The Bills were in the Top Six in passing yardage last year (assuming they’d played all 17 games). SOMEBODY must be catching those passes….no?
  8. You REALLY need to go back and rewatch the Seinfeld episode where Mom and Pop own a shoe store. The silliness on here has reached an all time high.
  9. Sure! That sounds about right. I’m gonna use it three times in a sentence.
  10. And just think, if RBG hadn’t been so sure that good ‘ol Hillary was going to win, she would’ve retired before dying in office and Obama would’ve picked her replacement. As I keep telling you people…EVERYTHING we’ve seen for the last six years always comes back to Hilary Clinton.
  11. So you agree. Hunter Biden and his dad are 100% guilty of corruption. Good to know. 😉
  12. The coaches make the decisions about who to start and play. The head scratcher would be how they would select Torrence with such a high pick in April and then decide not to play him just a few months later. OG is one of those positions where you should be able to step right in on Day One.
  13. So assuming that’s true, and I’m not saying it isn’t, then what in the world was Biden’s “small incursion” comment about? Hmmmm?
  14. Is the small incursion over yet?
  15. You’ll notice that I didn’t say they should just ‘hand it to him’. My comment is about the talent evaluation staff at OBD. Seems to me they should be able to spot a semi-decent OG when they see one.
  16. Where are ya cruising to Hawk? How’s the experience these days. Haven’t been on a cruise ship since long before the pandemic.
  17. What’s all this about now? Has someone said that Russia was/is ‘justified’?
  18. I’m going to be royally pissed if Torrence isn’t starting this year. The kid is massive and played against the highest level of competition in college. If they can’t get him in the lineup as a rookie at OG for heaven’s sake there’s something seriously wrong with the player development staff at OBD.
  19. For the record ‘substantial completion’ is a construction contract term that means the project/building can be used by the Owner for its intended use. Most public works construction contracts include a liquidated damages clause that allows the Owner to $ back-charge (penalize) the Builder for every day they are late in reaching Substantial Completion. Keep in mind that these type of damages are offset by unforeseen circumstances (severe weather, Indian bones, etc) which extend the construction contract time. Hope that helps.
  20. What does any of this have to do with OBJ or DHop? Hmmmm?
  21. So then nobody can fail here? Good to know! Time to abolish the safety net.
  22. Cost overruns are generally not due to the inefficiencies you’re referring to. And believe me when I say the ‘guy in SoCal’ has already forgotten more about public work’s construction than you ever thought you knew.
  23. That’s definitely NOT how public works construction is done. Just saying.
  24. What’s funny is when I actually uncovered Indian bones on my project site the archeologist said to me …”ya know, I always wanted to be an architect”. 😂
