My post was about the Oakland stadium COST and ROOF. I figured you of all people would find it interesting. But nope! Just more arguing over nothing.

Weo….I came on and gave a current event update on actual facts about the Oakland As new stadium. Seemed like a thread about stadium budgets was the place to post it. No BS….just facts that I thought people would find interesting. Especially about the cost, capacity and retractable roof. I’m not sure what prompted you to take the conversation in a really odd direction.

The only thing I know about Patricia is that he went to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy NY, near Albany, which also happens to be my father’s Alma Mater. It’s an engineering school and I’m not sure they even have a football team. 😳

You’ll note that I didn’t say anything about his intentions. I’m quite sure they’re good. But speaking as a guy who ran a major corporation, I can tell you it can be frustrating when employees, even really valuable ones, start getting out ahead of the front office.

With much respect. The nuances of various regions are sometimes difficult to comprehend. There’s a significant difference between the east and west bay side. I’m sure it doesn’t seem like much from WNY, but do not try and tell somebody from the Bay Area that they’re the same. And as you correctly pointed out, the A’s and Raiders will now have both moved out of State, not just out of the metro area. Further still, if memory serves, the San Jose Sharks are NOT the old California Seals. I believe they are a totally new franchise.

I’m not suggesting ANY drama at all. Relax! I’m asking whether those in WNY hear or see anything of the sort that I mentioned. All of this is just banter on a message board. Geeeeez!

I agree there, but we’ve yet to see that difference from Von Miller…even if we want to believe it’s there. I’m not saying he’s crossed the line yet, nor did I even hear his comments, but it seems to me that he’s been linked to a few of these threads, trying to get some ‘buddies’ to come to WNY. I didn’t think that’s what the Bills were trying to build. The Rams did it, and now they’re selling off just about everyone from their Super Bowl roster.

Weo….we’ve now established that you’re not from California. Oakland and San Francisco are most definitely not the same place. This is a significant blow to what was once a second tier major league city.
