I watched part of the replay last night and I’m still not convinced that any part of the Ravens’ gunner actually touched the goal line when downing their punt. The camera angles didn’t show it well enough for Harbaugh to challenge and I’m sure he was thinking ‘we’ve got this game in the bag’ at the time…but it would’ve put the Bills backed up against their own end zone.

I know it’s only Week One, but has anyone noticed that the Bills don’t play a team with a winning record until early November…after the bye.

I remember when Fitz had a perfect rating against the Seahawks one time, and I’m not even sure if we won….but I think so.

Now what? These are not magic beans. They’re just an exterior architectural treatment being used to shield the unconditioned concourse areas from the prevailing winds. Virtually NONE of these panels are even visible from inside the stadium. And, if you look closely at my photo you’ll see that uppermost portion of the outer panels, just under the roof canopy, are actually solid corrugated panels, with no perforations.

I was a bit confused as to just how straight forward the screens are. As I’ve previously posted, they’re nothing more than perforated metal sheets, and few, if any are actually visible from inside the seating bowl. They’ll cut down on gusting winds when you’re in the concourses but …

I started noticing the Collinsworth sthick a couple of seasons ago. All he does now is listen to the producers to see who they have a replay of, and he makes a shallow comment about how ‘great’ that player is….then does it all over again on the next play. Over, and over, and over again. Yawn. No analysis. No in depth strategy, nothing you can’t get off the Wikipedia page for each player.

Really feel sorry for Jefferson. It’s going to be a total waste of a season.

Where’s the thread about the best home opener? Last night absolutely HAS TO have unseeded any games on the list. (Poor Sam Adams; his fumble recovery and return has officially been relegated.)

I agree with the concept that once you’re pushed out, you shouldn’t be able to just step back on and catch it. No problem there. But if you’ve immediately come back and run across the field it seems a bit ridiculous.

Perfect example of why McD should be the Team Psychologist and NOT the Head Coach. (somewhat sarcastic) Or, at the very least, why McD should delegate the game day strategy reigns to others on his staff. There’s no shame in it Sean. You’re just not good at it. It’s okay to admit it.

Yet another rule that might need to be looked at by the NFL. Keon gets pushed out under the goal post. He immediately comes back on the field and runs all the way across the end zone, in bounds, before catching the ball. That should be a catch! Otherwise, I’m guessing the receiver’s only option is to literally walk out the back of the end zone and effectively give himself up on the play.

The fan was clearly wrong but what the heck are the Ravens doing ‘taunting’ the Bills fans in their stadium? Not sure what they expected. As they always say, when you score a touchdown, act like you’ve been there before.

I turned it off. Can someone tell me what happened?

There’s literally no comparison between the rosters of these two teams. The Ravens are loaded everywhere.
