  1. Nope. The idea of getting Favre or Dan Marino is just too strong.
  2. I do believe he will be the best rookie. I don't know about long term but if I wanted to win in the short I'd take Jackson.
  3. QBs have a decline in completion percentage as they get more attempts. The problem with Allen is even with less attempts he has a horrible completion percentage.
  4. And I said Darnold is the only one as talented. He still has bigger issues than all three you listed. He's only a sophomore. He has bad mechanics. He's refused to workout and throw. He's roughly 20? You have to project him more than Wentz as a player and as a person. Will he continue to grow? You can't know any of the answers on Darnold. But again I would take him first overall in this draft. In the draft with Wentz and Goff I'd take Darnold 3rd behind those two.
  5. This is not true though. Teams started scouting Wentz back in college, during the college season. Like I said even our failed GM Doug Whaley. http://buffalonews.com/2016/01/28/carson-wentz-draws-the-bills-attention-and-for-good-reason/ https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2016/1/29/10867820/2016-nfl-draft-carson-wentz-senior-bowl-buffalo-bills-doug-whaley
  6. Everyone was talking about Wentz during the football season. Even Whaley and his guys were talking abuot Wentz months before the senior bowl.
  7. He was a senior who got to play in the senior bowl where every GM could actually see what and who he was. Darnold wouldn't even work out at the combine. I'd take Wentz over Darnold every time. Doesn't mean Darnold wont be better in the long run just means he has more questions.
  8. Those QBs were all rated higher than the QBs in this draft. The only QB with as much talent is Darnold and he's coming out after starting two years so you really have to do a larger projection on him then you did with the others because they had more college starting experience.
  9. Aside from Mayfield and Jackson every QB in this draft should probably sit a year or 2.
  10. I still believe 2 of the top 4 QBs will be available outside the top ten because there are nine elite none QB players and only 2 teams who must draft QBs. Unless a team trades in front of us I would stay put until the draft. If they want Allen he'll probably make 12.
  11. Again why does that make him smarter than everyone else? These are your assumptions. Teams make their own mocks. I'm sure they have a player they want at 12 if they stay at 12.
  12. Because you said their guy won't make 12. I asked how do you know who their guy is and you've been on a ramble since.
  13. I would LMAO if the draft went this way and Broncos take Chubb.
  14. Or it means he's ranked the top 15 based on HIS board which is the most important. His board may not be the same as other teams. You are projecting what you believe it the top 12. He may have a completely different top 12. He probably has a group of players he believes are worth the 12th pick. You don't know who their guy is. Neither do I.
  15. 2004 was worst than this can ever be. 2004 had three HOF talents. We knew before the draft they would be great. 2018 is a lot of he might be good.
  16. Absolutely agree it's too much to give. Unless you're sure the guy is Peyton, Luck, Wentz, Eli or even Cam Newton.
