  1. I don't even like these QBs, except Darnold and Mayfield but the idea or GM got scooped tells me a lot about the way he operates. I thought he'd be aggressive in building a team and I need to seem much more from him then this. Maybe he'll get it right or maybe he'll be one of those I don't want to put my ass on the line GMs. We'll see.
  2. So they don't care about the bluechip players in the top 6 anymore, now that they have 3 seconds?
  3. But they'll get a franchise QB. Lets see what desperation does to the Bills. Could have been sitting pretty.
  4. They keep saying they do want to move that far back.
  5. This is what I mean. Bills overplayed their hand and Jets scooped them. I believe that's Beane's fault.
  6. Never said spite. Said I believe Bills overplayed their hand in the negotiation.
  7. I don't believe this because the Bills have two number ones. I think the Bills overplayed their hand. Beane specifically.
  8. Jets trade seems like a backup plan they had if the Bills tried to stick to the trade chart or lowball their offer.
  9. Something I've been thinking. Bills fell asleep at the wheel. Why do I say this? Everyone said Colts didn't want to trade out of the top 10. I believed this also, but the more I see mock drafts and hear the Colts GM saying he's not apposed to moving down the more I think Beane overplayed his hand for the 3rd pick. Beane probably tried to haggle and they said, screw you and took a deal with the Jets. Now here's the hard part. I believe if Whaley is the GM we have the 3rd overall pick today and everyone is projecting we get Darnold or Rosen. It's sickening. Whaley would have given up "too much" but we'd be in a better position. JMO.
  10. No. He's like these new MLBs. He could play Weakside but he's more of an inside coverage guy. He's like a poormans Luke Kuechly. Think Ryan Shazier or Darron Lee. He is a projection in the middle because he's played all over the field in college. He could cover in the middle like this defense needs, you just have to keep him clean. You have to be heavy or disruptive in the front four and I think the Bills are both. They could use another DT, and probably a stud End but that might have to wait a year.
  11. What if the Bills already have a trade worked out but the NFL want them to wait because it creates draft day excitement?
  12. Bills are going to steal Fred Warner in the late 2nd or first pick in the 3rd and everyone will forget we ever needed a MLB.
  13. I'll go out on this limb and say McCarron ends up third string.
  14. I don't believe the Bills are even this dumb where they'd bet on AJ McCarron. We'll see but I don't have much hope for him being an answer. Maybe he's the same as Tyrod, 9 or 10 wins on a perfect team with all stars all over the place. It just says a lot to me he could never beat out Dalton.
  15. Part of Tyrod's ceiling is RPO. If you look at what he was his first year with the Bills that is his ceiling. If you look at what they tried to make him I agree with you. AJ though is what, a career backup in year 4? 5? same as Tyrod, not good enough to beat out a game manager. We'll see what he does but I'd be shocked if he anything more that Ryan Fitzpatrick. I'd be winning to bet he Tyrod without running ability.
  16. Makes sense. Tyrod is/was a runner and most of his improvements have been and will continue to be as a passer. Tyrod has more to offer because he can be dynamic if passing doesn't workout. AJ is a passer and has not proven to be anything special at passing. If he never develops as a passer he's dead in the water. It was said during his draft that AJ had reached his maximum talent as a passer at Bama. AJ has no upside if passing doesn't make major improvements and he has no alternative to a weak passing game.
  17. Rudolph does play from the pocket with a quick release. I could see him being a franchise QB with some work.
  18. How can you compare 2018 with other classes? How does he know who will be a franchise QB?
  19. So basically as we've thought for weeks, if the Browns take Darnold they'll trade down, if not they wont?
  20. Wouldn't love it but if they design a long ball Steelers offense then I'd be fine with it. If they draft Allen and make him play a quick Patriots offense I'd be pissed because the other 5 would be a better choice for that offense.
  21. Most pro ready doesn't mean the most ready to start. They said Peterman was the most pro ready.
  22. Giving up zero picks would be a great coup for the Bills. That I would actually love.
