  1. Well of course, if you don´t feel secure with a 99% chance then the Bills have damage you really bad. I know that we are talking abour our Bills and that 1% is very Billsy, but comm´on we have to make it eventually.
  2. 10-6 With an 8-0 at home and 1 more away win (I think it will be against the LAC). That means playoffs at week 15 And with a little luck 11-5 winning against the Dolphins in the last game of the season improving our Wild Card seeding to 5th.
  3. I know what you mean, and history tells us that we will not make it, like the last 2 times we were 5-2 and played the Jets week 8... But I feel like this team is better, more prepared, the mental thoughness is there (not last night)... I still see 2 ways to make the playoffs... 1) Take care of business in all of our home games (8-0 at home will be sweet) and find 1 more win away (LAC, KC, NE, MIA). This will mean split with the Pats and the Dolphins and get to a 10-6 record. 2) Get sweep by the Pats but Sweep the Dolphins / win everything else at home. Also a 10-6 record. This 2 have a 98% of playoffs probability and both are doable. With the first one we will even be in the playoffs 2 weeks before the season ends... Defense and TO are a very important part of the game, without them the Jets don´t win last night...
  4. I will remain the same my friend, I will even play with the Playoffs Machine to check what needs to happen to finally gets us to the playoffs, until we are out... And even then I will still trust the process.
  5. I like how you put it and certanly hope that we don´t put another 93 or even 80. Yesterday everything went wrong, even the good plays ended bad (sack/facemask, great O´Lary catch/fumble, JMat catch/fumble) But it all comes down to preparation and focus. I think KW even said during the week that he didnt like TNF games and probably the whole team didn´t take care of business like usual. In the other hand it seems like the Jets were ready and well prepared, you just have to look at the first play, they knew what was coming (I even knew what was coming). I look forward to a 68 next week to bounce back. I still belive in the process and I am still exited for this season.
  6. Yes please, he was terrible last game. He can keep rushing on passing downs, put him in as a DE but no more coverage for him.
  7. Not as much as last year when the Raiders played the Texans. There are a LOT of Pats fans in Mexico. I will say 60 / 40 Raiders for that game. I will be there doing my part suporting the Raiders.
  8. Former QB with upside at WR... seems like he is very smart and hard worker. His pluse is he is elusive and can play WR and PR/KR as well.
  9. I think Ward is in the Practice Squad. Interesting if they bring another Safety, Hyde can play CB for what I heard before, but I wouldn´t change him out of position, he has been playing at an All Pro Level as it is.
  10. 5. Sean McDermott. It’s obvious every week. McDermott expects his defense to win the game, and he expects his offense not to lose it. The Bills went up 14-10 on the fumble return, then got an interception. They followed with a 19-play, 11-minute drive, with 15 running plays! Hauschka hit the chip shot. The next time the Bills got the ball with the lead, three running plays and a field goal. When the Bills have the lead, they’re going to run the ball for as long as they can. Run the clock, punt if they must, and put the game back into the hands of the defense. Taylor isn’t getting 30 pass attempts if the Bills have leads. When Hyde made his 2nd INT I was praying for smart football (run the ball, pass only if you have to), but play smart football doesn´t mean extremly conservative & predictable running... I didn´t enjoy that serie at all, the formation they chose was totally wrong, the falcons didn´t have to respect the pass one bit. I think you have to spread the formation so they can´t but 9/10 guys in the box. But that´s my only complain to an otherwise masterpice game plan,
  11. Nop, it was the same as the Sanders Catch / no Catch... he didn´t complete the catch as he felt down and lost the ball. For me it was a good no challenge. But what I like to see there is the referees call the TD so it would have to be reviewed. I think all controversial calls in the end zone should be given the proper review, not just scoring plays.
  12. As a unit they all play well, nothing flashy, but they gave a good fight. Denvers line is very good. A good and motivated Dareus would have helped a lot, they had their share of big runs up the middle.
  13. Yeah, they will come to us and make us stronger. McD will cut the players that are not buying his philosophy (Dareus isn´t at the moment) and get a hard working player with the desire to succeed with the team, not only in his stat sheet and banc account, and if they are willing to work hard they will get fair compensation (Shady new insentives).
  14. The Bills style of play helps explain why Sammy Watkins is in Los Angeles. We all love the spectacular play, the kind of plays Sammy makes. McDermott and his GM believe it isnt necessary to make those plays to win games, and they certainly dont want to base the long-term fortunes of the team on those kind of plays; when youre built to win by getting explosive plays from explosive players, what happens when you lose the players to retirement, free agency or injury? McDermott and his GM seem to believe its a better, more sustainable strategy, to have good coaches and good players doing their jobs, every day, every week, every year. Like Bill Belichick. Exactly, McD and Company need to build a team, a whole team, not just the lines, the skill positions, the secondary, a whole team that complements each other and that BUYS IN.
  15. Exactly! Thats why I like TT, he is not a future HOFer or an Elite Franchise QB, but we can win with him and a good D. And with that kind of contract you can have better players at diferent positions. DOn´t get me wrong, I would reather have a Manning, Brees, Rodgers, etc... but I´m fine rolling with TT until we get our future Elite QB.
  16. No cutbacks, both ends are crashing, that means the opposit edge defender will catch Shady the moment he cuts back. 1. RPO should work (Run Pass Option) 2. Read Option (So TT can work his magic) 3. Spread Offense (ala Gaily when Spiller was here) 4. What KC is doing with Kelce, multiple fakes to the outside with RB or WR (Hill) and shovle pass to TE 5. Trap plays, just make sure someone accounts the guy that is crashing from the opposite side.
  17. Neither one... Bad rout, Zay should have gone to the pylon, not to the sideline at the 4/5 yard line... Doing that he would of had a better angle to the ball and an easy TD catch.
  18. Where are you hearing this? It´s not live in FB
  19. Thanks as always, it is nice to read some reasonable take on the game insted of all the bashing without fundament that happens a lot in any message board. I of course agree with you in must of what you said and here are my takes: 1. The OC needs to open up his offense and play the strenght of his players. TT is not a pocket passer, he can do it but it is not his best chance to win. Roll outs, move the pocket, miss direction, etc. is what we are missing. 2. They need to spread the offense to avoid having an stack front. That will even upen up the short routs they want to live with. The short passing game won´t work if you have a full front 7, everybody is playing close to the LOS, even the CBs and Ss. They need to try to go deep once in a while, even if it doesn´t work just so the D plays honest. 3. Everybody is bashing TT for that throw, but what I can see is that Zay ran a bad rout, he needed to go to the first pylon, insted he went to the sideline in a sharper cut. If he goes to the pylon the throw would have been on the money. Zay tryed to make an amazing catch but faild. 4. I didn´t think McD manage the timeouts wrong, I think it was smart to keep that one so he could hit a pass to the middle of the field and still have a chance to throw one more time. And the TO call on D on the goal line stand was brilliant. Riviera did something similar before our last play. 5. Dennison didn´t call that last play, I saw Taylor chating with Ricco when they (Panthers) called the TO, he was telling him what he wanted (it seems). 6. We have a top 5 D, and it will keep us in a lot of games. Hope we can disturbe Brady
  20. I honestly think there are worst teams than the Jets like Indy (without Luck), Houston was very bad and they didn´t play a really great D (jax has a good D but not great), 49rs and you could throw Cinci in there, but maybe Ravens have a better D than I expected.
  21. I would only change the RB, why risk McCoy in garbage time? Sepecially after he was injured.
  22. Love the energy and at the same time preaching smart football. I like what I see so far. I don´t want to see them lose anytime soon, but the way he handel himself in adversity will tell us a lot more about him and how the team will respond to him.
  23. Exactly! So this D is much better this way. Play simple, Play fast, fly to the ball and make the big play when the oportunitie presents itself.
  24. I also think they did´t show what our D is capable of. They played very vanilla as the game didn´t much more that what they did and I think it is smart on their part. I don´t expect a lot of pressure against Cam either, they will contain him in the pocket and send 4 max 5 each play.
