  1. I broke my hand a few years ago. Had to have 3 pins inserted as well. I never had a cast and was told to get moving it around immediately. I was good to go in 3-4 weeks with me exercising it constantly.

I separated the bones between my pinky and index finger in my hand.

Granted, I wasn’t catching balls from Allen, but was lifting weights and doing things normally again within 3-4 weeks.

He played 100% of the snaps yesterday. He is as much a starter as anyone else on defense. I hope we pay him.

Me too. The kid has really been balling out there. We should be able to afford him as well. I don’t think it will break the bank by any means. Plus we are starting to see players not wanting to leave. They know they are on a winning team with a great culture and fan base. That’s a huge selling point.

Great post. Warren Moon is criminally underrated historically and threw a great deep ball.

Allen has all the tools and attributes. Continued consistency is what will make him truly elite. He will get there.

I loved watching Moon. I was a young guy at the time, but he had an amazing spiral on that ball. It was truly special.

I feel like--and of course, this is all speculation--there just aren't many humans out there as long and athletic as Groot, who can also hold the line against OLmen. I wonder if part of his early success is due to the fact that OL just aren't accustomed to his length, and honestly don't know how to handle a guy like Groot.

(also, Miami's OL wasn't very good, to begin with; we'll see how this pans out, over the course of the season, I guess).

I would agree. He’s a bit of a freak in size. I’m not sure what an opposing OL-man does to counter that. Once Greg gets his hands into the shoulder/chest with those long arms and pushes the pocket there is trouble. But you’re right, Miami’s o-line might be trash.
