Beane: Gore will push McCoy to be the starter
Locomark replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t care if we have to run by committee this year. The key is we need production. Last year’s line and offense was so awful it is really hard to know what the real shady looks like any more. -
Well this goes with the theory that we are just loading guys into camp because we have the money to do it if they sign him. We all know he is just a big man package guy.

Zay Jones could be very good as a slot In a 4 wide or could be ought of here. I just don’t see him putting it all together day in and day out enough to ever be talked about in the same sentence with Jarvis Landry. He is closer to a cut than being that caliber IMO. If Robert Foster show consistently on the outside throughout the preseason and camp then Zay is looking like trade bait.

Anderson didn’t even look like he wanted to play last year. Barclay can dress as the backup and let’s keep that 3rd spot as developmental as it should be.

What are the odds on who kills Cersei, because we all know she is going down in the end.... Mine are ---> 3:1 Jamie....5:1 Tyrion 7:1 Sansa 30:1 Grey Worm (the slave takes down the empire would be agood story) 50:1 Sam (why not) 70:1 The faceless man 100:1 the field because I think Jon, Arya or the Danearys are all too obvious -
The Competition for WR6 on the Bills Roster
Locomark replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McKenzie and Roberts make it as 5,6 because they can provide return and jet sweep abilities. I think we could even go with 7 WRs this year if we plan on being spread and keep a bunch of OL that play multiple positions. My opinion is that Sills has no chance because she showed no ability to get open during senior bowl week against press and at WV he was often not pressed. There is a reason he didn’t get drafted! Williams is a big wish upon a star but his frame would be a great skill set for us. -

I think he has a big chance at the practice squad this year. -
RD 7, Pick 225: OLB/EDGE Darryl Johnson, N. Carolina A&T

Then you didn’t see the NFL network clips of Nauta. Dude looked slow and disengaged early on both blocks they showed.. -
RD 7, Pick 228: TE Tommy Sweeney, Boston College

I have zero expectations for anyone after round 5 ever making the final 52. Anyone who does is either a diamond in the rough ( see Robert Foster ) or a reflection of weak talent at a position ( see Robert Foster ). Not sure we will see anyone like that this year with the new depth we have. Wish the last kid luck because he will need it. -
RD 5, Pick 147: LB Vosean Joseph, University of Florida

The additional thing I like about this pick is he can play that Hybrid Safety/Linebacker role that is required in these multiple receiver sets in today's NFL. -

Yes, there were no smokescreens this year. -
Looking at the summaries of the edge guys left, I can't help but think we aren't adding any of them. Maybe we have decided to sign Ansah to a prove you are healthy 1 or 2 year deal or maybe we are just rolling with the edge guys we already have. Note: Oliver is twitchy enough to be moved outside on occasion also.

There is our rangy LB to replace Zo next year. Good pick and they obviously are sticking with BPA in their positions of need which would have been LB,CB, Edge, and WR. So I would guess the final picks will be an Edge and a WR. -
I like Godwin, Harmon or Morgan Stanley Jr at WR. Godwin really caught my eye in Indy looking super fluid. Joseph would be a good LB pick as would Be Tranquil from ND who can cover well or T.J. Edwards from Wisconsin if the other 2 are gone. As far as Edge I think anyone we get will be a project. Would love to get D Andre Walker but he won’t last until Round 5. Maxx Crosby would be a good get. Don’t sleep on Brailford from OKState here either as a late pick. High motor. Whatever we we do I hope we do NOT draft Anthony Johnson. I saw at least 5 Bulls games last year and he was rarely gaining separation in the MAC..

A. Our WR group is much better than last year at this time. B. Speed -No one had to respect the deep field at the start of last season. Now we have it. C. Foster and our QB have a year of playing time under their belts and D.There is still a whole offseason for trades. Many teams are in cap hell so we may still make another deal. This isn’t a great group but it isn’t poor either, especially with a real line giving us time to throw for once.
