If Josh is our leading rusher again it better be because we went outright KC on people and just went pass happy and threw for 5000 yards and the running was just a byproduct of all the drop backs.....

Just realized Frank Gore only needs 521 yards to pass Barry Sanders for 3rd All-Time rushing. Would be nice to see something like that happen in a Bills uni. Last time I remember someone other than Bruce hitting the top 3 on any All-Time list in our uni was probably Lofton in receiving yards. Based on Shady's hammy history, I think its really possible this year. Thoughts?

First off. Jackson's biggest problem will be his defense that lost a ton of playmakers so he can't ride them anymore. Second, Football IQ and intelligence both matter in today's NFL. Guys with low wonderlic can not make it at QB in today's league without a simplified offense IMO. Now let's look at the K Gun in its heyday. It relied on a quality center who could get the QB out of bad calls. It spread the field and limited play calls so it let the men win their one on ones. All the QB had to do was make the throws and have a running game. I really think that if you take a kid who can think like Allen AND vary the offense play calls AND spread the field to make reads easier AND give him any time then the sky is the limit for Allen. Allen's intelligence is important.

Outside of this kid being related to Jim, why is anyone talking about him?? This kid has no chance at a career outside or the arena football league.

I think he will have more interceptions. I think we will throw the ball more and just from a basic percentage standpoint his picks will go up. That isn't bad if everything else (points, yards, TDs, first downs, 3rd down conversions) go up as well.

I would rather us see 12 picks and 28 TDs than see 5 picks and 15 TDs. We need to play in the 2019 NFL if we want to be a true contender again......

I lived out of state for the game so I had friends on the phone who basically were calling me every 5 minutes asking about this play or that play. I went to get a sub at half and came back just when it went to 35-3 and almost stopped watching the game. Eventually my VHS copy turned out to be one hot commodity...

Why do we continue to look for random players to play TE?? Sorry but Beane hasn't impressed me in his ability to ID or sign TE talent. Maybe Mark Brammer has a nephew somewhere?

Love the Hughes move. For some reason I thought Jerry might be unreasonable and ask for some crazy $ numbers. That is a fair deal and if they were smart they would be pursuing another big time DE and trying to get Brady gone ASAP. He needs to fear every snap against the Bills....

Bring on Kyle Rudolph...we have the space and we must get some production from TE. If we don't pull the trigger, it may just mean we are still courting another DE via FA or Trade to pair .with Jerry

Time for McBeane to jump on the Rudolph bandwagon that they should have jumped on right after the draft....now the price just went up.

McBeane has to evolve from running a team with little talent to a contender. It takes real stars to do that....we have been willing to overpay has been stars such as Kyle and Shady, Time to pay for current stars.... I mean we pay $13Mil for a 31 year old guy with under 10 sacks who gets at least 3 disciplinary penalties a year who also can't be moved around the line...is that a McBeane move?

We have zero DEs under contract next year so some edge guy will get overpaid by us and every free agent knows it. I would rather take the guy who is a top 5 player who is actually on the upswing than take the retread like Jerry who is on the downswing. Let's take our money and get a true impact DE who can play all along the line and even cover some people. I would give the 1st up and I guarantee that is why we haven't done the deal. We have a fairly young team after Shady, Lorenzo, and Gore leave so the time is now to show we intend on winning now, not five years from now. We have a lot of positions that are cost controlled with the next big deal really not coming until we have to get 27 his money. Every good team pays an Edge, #1 WR, QB, ShutDown CB, LT, and a few impactful players sprinkled in. Everyone else is expendable or rotated around. We need a #1 DE and possibly a WR1 and we can't draft both next year if we go 8-8 or better folks! I think the fact we aren't giving the first pick says one of 2 things: 1. Houston wants more assets than the 1 that we wont give. Maybe a 3 or a decent player like a Milano. 2. We think we might be 6-10 again so we are afraid to part with another top 10 pick. This second option seems unlikely, but what if there is closed door concern about Josh Allen still?

Adding Clowney would make our defense feared if the price didn’t include losing Jerry. The challenge is what does Jerry want as his next deal. We have the money even with Clowney. Not sure if the price is worth next year’s first though.
