Isn’t this the formula for every game, stop the run and rush the QB??? I don’t even think pressuring Eli matters (although we will) because he isn’t high caliber. He just needs to be kept from making any big plays.

Today heard that Peter Schaefer dork on NFLN Good Morning Football say the Jets dominated for 3 quarters.....so we all know the NYC media has blinders on and so do their fans. Outside of the turnovers and crappy field starts, we pretty much owned yardage the whole game over the Jets. I expect the same over the Giants. Let’s just keep letting everyone underestimate us.

Maybe the refs should get nicknames on their shirt backs like the XFL used to have for quick identification.....

Hers my wacky take....every year the whole civilized world picks the Pats demise. This year everyone thinks the Pats have it in the bag because of AB. I think the football gods will get it right and It would be poetic justice if the one year nobody picks their demise is the year that Brady gets hurt. He has been healthy since 07. His time has come. The odds will strike. Can you imagine the intense energy in the stadium if Brady went down with a major injury during a Bills game??

Dillon, Talib, Ochocinco, Gordon all shaped up. The Pats are the new Al Davis Raiders. They can grab a risk or 2 every year because if they fail they have a great team around them. We did the same with Richie and it worked out for a few years. AB may or may not work out but they don’t need him to.

I would never try a FG here. If there was an extra minute on the clock, then it may be a 50/50 consideration depending on the team you play. Our defense had no reason to be scared of Darnold gaining 60 yards or their kicker so it was a basic decision. The biggest blown call for the Bills was their ***** decision to bring in the big people to run a 3rd and 2 QB sneak. Bleck!!

It was always said that Darnold was the guy with the best floor so he was a safer pick. I think people know the ceiling and potential with the other athletically is better but they are wild cards. Darnold doesn’t scare me. I am more scared of Tua going to the Phins next year. The Phins and Bills will be real rivals again when that happens.

If I’m the Bills I go for the jugular early and pass again. Get up on them 10-14 points and make them pass. Their defense was porous against Dallas, so let’s start from in front and then pound the rock after. Let’s be aggressive and by all means start with Singletary catching some passes and getting some draws.

I would give the unheralded game ball to Siran Neal today. He stepped in and played a big game at nickel after Johnson went down.

I was prettty proud of UB’s play against PSU. They dominated them offensively yard wise with a kid that had thrown 10 passes all of his college career coming in. All this in front of 100,000 people. They were picked to be maybe 5-5 at best this year and now maybe this gives us hope they can be closer to 7-3 and get into another bowl game. They have the quality runners and OL.

This is right on. The key to me is that he was composed when we usually crumble. The turning point for me was when we get a penalty and are 2nd and 17 with over 3 left in the game. That is usually self destruct mode where we get picked. A few plays later we were winning. That on Josh. That’s leadership and belief within the team where it didn’t exist before.

So Singletary outgains Bell and Allen outgains Darnold and our defense only allows 3.4 yards a play. Imagine what could have happened without all the crazy turnovers. Even the punter didn’t suck. All I wanted was a first game leaving high optimism for the future. Let see this continue for the next 2 weeks. We need to come back to Metlife and hand it to the Giants next week.
